Better recruiting will solve all of this. Once we can get kids to stop looking at HBCUs as less than, then we will fare better. In basketball HBCUs shooting for the same Natty as UConn. HBCU conferences as a whole have to win out of conference games.

Please take a look at the end of year NET rankings (last year) and the seedings for the NCAA tournament (last year). Actually, look at the last 3 years (specifically seeds 13 - play in). The NET rankings is only 1 factor and sometimes it is puzzling as to the weighing on that factor.
Thanks for watching the show!
@ Loved it.
@ thanks for watching!
Cool hire. I think he'll do fine at AAMU.
I agree! Thanks for watching the show!!
I wonder if even any of these Celebrity coaches are interested in any of the D2 open coaching positions? Valley is not going down to D2 because they would be in even worse position financially in D2 than in D1 (Remember that the SIAC does not distribute as much as the SWAC with conference payouts to each school and SIAC schools have to travel to Ohio and Kentucky).
@@EyeOfTheWatcher that’s a fair question and assessment of Valley. Thanks for watching!!
👏👏👏
Thank you for watching the show!! Much appreciated!
There are around 101 HBCUs, but yet we are treated as one entity. I notice there was hardly any converge of that one white player from Notre Dame that hit another team's player in the face.
“The right way, the Jackson State way” with emotion was a shot at that clown talking about a playbook. Dude was out here minimizing this team victories and all he has ever won is a reduction in child support.. Great footage Wayne and u right JSU was in the house….CU next year….
@@Id_rather_be_golfing thanks for watching the show!!! I will definitely be there!
Still gives me chills
SCSU fans had ample amount of time to plan for Atlanta. They knew they were going to Atlanta FIVE WEEKS before game day and they didn’t show up the way they should’ve. Meanwhile, JSU fans had to plan & attend a conference championship which left them less than a week to plan & get to get to ATL. Shoot, give JSU fans 5 weeks to plan for ATL and they would’ve had 36-40k fans by themselves lol Every charter bus & flight would’ve been booked out!
@@SirDavis214 I was confused about SCSU fans for the very reason you mentioned. Thanks for watching the show!

This game needs to become a destination event EVERY DECEMBER!!! I'm sure Mr. Grant did his due diligence in regards to marketing the event...but in some chats I heard that the game was not advertised in ATL... How is that possible???
@@tigernationtheundefeated2425 if this game wasn’t advertised down there, we as a culture still knew that the game was going on 12/14. Agreed that it should be advertised, but several thousand of us did know. You are right that this should be a destination event! Thanks for watching the show!
Great show Wild Wayne, your content has been excellent along with the other HBCU Media’s. This year attendance was affected by date being moved up. This game was advertised in local market. Maybe Mr Grant can get the metro Atlanta High School involved. This game is a gem and should attract 50k fans easily.

@waynecartwright when I saw my boy Jalen Woods not suited up. I knew it was over.
@@SUJaguar98 you guys played a sound first half defensively. The lack of offense wore that defense down along with Zy McDonald as a change up. The Jackson faithful were on edge for a while. Look to develop Teasett and Woods. They have potential. Thanks for watching the show!
@SUJaguar98 bro don’t lie to yourself. Y’all still weren’t going to win that game. Stop lying to yourself. Y’all wanted teasette. And, I don’t know why I watch southern press conference for the swac champion (BR proud) and that same Jalen woods spoke about plying and playing in the swac championship. Y’all are in denial. Y’all aren’t a bad team but y’all weren’t going to be a factor even if he did play. Teasett/Boden had got y’all to the championship so wishing he was playing I’m telling u now would’ve been the same result.
@jamesbush6035 that's about the most uniformed dumb ass comment anyone can make. Woods had the last 3 starts. Woods can make big plays to get back in the game really quick. He played 6A football in Georgia against guys bigger than SWAC and took Woodward to the state championship. He is the most accurate passer we have on the roster and he releases the ball faster. So don't come in here like you know wtf you are talking about.
@jamesbush6035 whats even dumber is you probably are praising zy AFTER he made plays. Morgan was yall guy now all the Sudden it's ZY. Morgan aint did crap against us but without running the ball we needed big plays the same way FAMU stayed in the game with yall.
@ being emotional isnt going to do anything for u or the jaguars.. we can talk ball/stats but I ain’t gone argue with a female bro. You doing too much
JSU will win with depth and they’re more aggressive offensively and defensively

JSU defense should be great in the SWAC because the offense is so pitiful. Try JSU defense against the MEAC teams and see who will win.
@@antonioabraham5005 thanks for watching the show. This is one of my big questions also
Outside of SCSU and NCCU who has a high powered offense over there? Stop that dog.
@@Damariun224 Can JSU beat ttu and the citadel beside Georgia Southern. Will JSU stop Scsu three receivers,te and decent run games that’s a lot on offense that JSU defense have to stop. I don’t think JSU defense can stop all those weapons on Scsu offense. Morgan can beat JSU the number one defense in the MEAC and JSU bearly beat Alabama State with a 5th strange qb and Morgan state qb is better than Alabama State qb.
@@antonioabraham5005 That’s fine. That’s why you play the game. You don’t have to believe it.

Scsu defense is no where near as good as ASU defense.
@@kentrelt5140 thanks for watching the show. I hope the analysis was informative. I present everything from a non-biased perspective.
Morgan is not a good QB. Point blank. Zy McDonald has always been the better QB of them all. Just needed a FULL OPPORTUNITY.
I appreciate you watching the show. I hope you enjoyed the insight and coverage.
Saying Morgan is not Good is crazy lol. Zy is good, but you don’t have to talk down on Morgan to praise Zy. Zy was a game changer because he can run better than Morgan, so he can escape the pocket better. They both are good. If you feel that Zy is better that’s cool.
TCs judgment is good enough for me. Zy barely played all year, but when Morgan went down instead of McCoy coming in TC went with Zy, clearly the stuff fans can't see TC and coaching staff have pulse of the team.

Also... LC Cole is available, also Johnny Cole is available, they will get it turned around fairly quickly. .call them up, if you miss out on Coach Shade.
Give Coach Sam Shade a call, now!!! he's right down I 65 in Fairfield Alabama
I think Coach Manor will land on his feet somewhere.. Tuskegee University needs to call him now! TU needs a football coach in the worst way ....Aaron James ain't it.
@@JohnSmith-bb8qv interesting take about Tuskegee. Thanks for watching!
The Qb changes within games did it for him. Im not sure why he he didn't keep the best Qb within the games. He was to loyal to one particular Qb that ended his tenue at AAMU. I'm like you..., I was frustrated too! Nevertheless, best wishes to Coach Maynor.
@@Mikeskii-j5w thanks for watching and let’s see where this goes
I feel like AAMU NEEDS a splash hire. I loved Maynors charisma but he couldn't get it done. In some cases he talked a little TOO much. Can't say "they pay me to win SWAC games". And then DON'T win them. I know many are against a so-called Celebrity hire. But imo AAMU NEEDS someone to change the culture down there. Only reason id say Ed Reed, or someone like this is for that reason. AAMU is in s good area , growing city, they need someone to make ppl EXCITED about their FB program. They need a BIG Boost. If not a celebrity hire, then someone like a Sam Shade, tjough id hate it for MILES COLLEGE. Maynor did ho some good things. He beat NORTH ALABAMA, that was huge. But instead of progressing, the program regressed. It just thst time for a change. I think Maynor WILL find another job, maybe not in the SWAC though. If im Tuskegee, or someone in SIAC, Id call him. Either way AAMU needs to shake it up, losing 3 yrs straight to a man with NO coaching experience? And not being able to REDEEM yourselves after the 61 -15 game, that lingers. Black or White AAMU needs someone to let the SWAC know YOU'RE COMIN! Im a Hornet but i wanna see all my HBCU doing good especially in Alabama. Ill be watching.
It's ok to pop some bottles Wayne
@@SonicBoomC98 😂😂😂 I need to see who we hire next and win games before I do that
