You are right Sir, there are those who do not like to hear about repentance. As you have stated, a person cannot truly experience grace without repentance. Grace and repentance work intimately together. Repentance not only places a demand on a person to turn from sin and from sinful practices, but repentance places a person in the position to be accountable for how he or she is stewarding their walk in life. This also means that a person has to face himself or herself and become aware of the condition that their conscience is in within the practices that are obstructing them from coming into the truth of who they are in The LORD God's image.
