3 TIPS on how to IMPROVE your TENNIS GAME!
Hi, what grip size do you use? You find lots of diferent feelings between L3 o L4? What do you recomend for an adult player? Thx!
Be careful about Yonex grip sizes; they feel a little bigger than other brands. I have L3 in a Wilson ProStaff, and it fits perfectly. However, in my Ezone, L2 would be a better choice! Its not a huge difference.
my early experience has not been good with pure aero 100...will 98 be a different scenario?
Can anyobody let me know if the Speed MP and the Boom MP will show a major difference in performance or play?
Wow. I’ve been testing some racquets for about a month now. Lately I’ve been between the Ezone 100 and the VCore. I don’t generate tons of power cause I’m new at tennis and try to play with more placement w/ some spin. Now I feel like I’m not as sure about the ezone 100. I think also tried the ezone feel so I may try that again along w/ this one to see the diff.
Definitely worth a try! Hope you find the racquet that suits your game!

I have a Gatorade GX bottle as well the only I don't have any the pods
Haha not fun without pods

What?
We have the same one way better then Stanley
Awesome!!! That’s good to know!!!
do you guys prefer the aero over the aero rafa?
Not necessarily. The pure aero rafa origin is a little too heavy for us. But the normal version is nice.
Thanks for the interesting video!! I’m an intermediate player planning to buy a new all-rounder racquet, and I’m confusing whether I pick the Ezone 100 or Blade V9 100, any help with the choice?
Hey! Thank you for the kind comment! Both are good racquets. Depends what you would want more: power or control. The blade is more control oriented and ezone more power and more forgiving. If you are a baseliner then maybe the ezone would be better. If you are more agressive and want flatter shots, perhaps the blade? Hopefully this helps!
@@AdventureTennis Hey! Thanks for your comment, it definitely helped! I’ll go with the Ezone :)
@@basharalhasan4728 Awesome! You won’t regret it! Great racquet!
Strings 51 lbs
Awesome!
This is 2nd racquet ever and I like it
It’s great! That’s awesome!
can you recommend a good string and tension for this blade 😊 Thanks
Vince plays with Luxilon Eco Spin 17g currently and he loves it. We also like Toroline Wasabi, the dark pink strings. We have a 15% discount code for them “ADVENTURETENNIS”. Vince will be switching into those again shortly
As for tension, that’s more personal taste. Vince is at 54lbs.
I play with the Blade 98 but I recommend considering the Blade 100 or the Percept 100D before fully committing. They're a little firmer and give more pop. That said, neither have the good feel of the Blade 98.
@@trentmccormick6171 thank you for the recommendation! Will test them out!
Have you tried the 98? It’s awesome for the one handed backhand
I did briefly a few years back. I am now playing with the Blade 98 so definitely a good option I might want to revisit.
Switched 😊
😎😎
My last racquet was the Blade v2 18x20 from 2011, picked up a v9 16x19 recently and fell instantly in love. Way more feel, which really builds up confidence in putting more pace in an already fast ball. The 16x19 pattern really helps with accessing spin, compared to the 18x20 which eats up some spin for more control. Hands down my recommended racquet for someone who can produce their own power through proper coiling and uncoiling their kinetic chain.
Wooow! V2 from 2011! That’s amazing! Thank you for sharing!!
@@MochiNPRA nailed it. I typically struggle with accessing spin and this stick helps me negate that struggle !
Just got one very good love it
Amazing!! That’s awesome!
Yes! I was also thinking for trying it with its soft flex but stiffer head face. I also now have a OHBH.
Nice! What did you think of it?
@@AdventureTennis Haven’t tried it yet. I really like my whiteout but was thinking of giving it a try and also for the 16x19 string bed helping my game out maybe.
@@ryansolomon4178 Ahhh sorry misread that last comment. Let us know what you think. Are there any reason why you want to change into this racquet that you are missing in your Whiteout?
@@AdventureTennis the flex rating forgiveness and the 16x19 open pattern. Sometimes when I hit the tape, I always wonder if the racquet launch angle was a little higher, would it have gone over. Know what I mean?
also wanted to try Percept 97
Yo nice jump serve
Haha thanks!
Noice
Thank you!
Too good

I already have!

Should Vince switch to the Blade? 👀
I'm thinking about changing my racket to a PURE AERO 100 or EZONE 100, would like to hear your opinions. Btw, I'm using Wilson Blade V7 now. Many thanks!
Both are great choices but play very differently than the Blade. The aero is a little less maneuverable than the Ezone. Both are great for ground strokes. Aero has much more spin and kick on serve. Ezone feels like it has more power and is a little more stable. Both are very good.
@@AdventureTennis thanks for your kind reply. Cheers!
Janice Crossroad
Ohhhhh ?
U need to learn how to volley
Agreed! Vince has been working on his volleys. This video is over a year old haha
I recently started watching your channel and tenncom, then one video I realized you guys are playing in Winnipeg. Love to see it!
Yes! That’s awesome! Tenncomm is in Vancouver now but we are still in WPG
Just bought 8 of these.
Oh wow! Mans went ALL IN 👀
Shank and Shank +net and out.... Cant see if its a good racket from the playtest. Have to take your word for it.
Definitely a good racquet for beginner/intermediate players.
@@AdventureTennis And with some lead tape in hoop/silicone in handle etc, it can be customized to advanced/heavy hitters. And 50 % of the racket is the strings.
Buckridge Trail
What?
I’m about to play test this racquet. Then I am play testing the pure drive. If anyone has any advice on the two please tell me.
Both VERY good options. Honestly comes down to personal taste and playstyle. Vince prefers the Ezone of course haha but the Drive is great as well.
Alvarez could play with a pickleball racquet. It’s not the racket,
True
Definitely prefer the speed pro, however blade does has a nice feel!
Nice! Why do you prefer the Speed?
@@AdventureTennis more stable and larger sweetspot and power. But feel wise the blade is a bit better!
Nice! Yes, we will be reviewing both a little more in depth soon so thank you for the feedback!
@@AdventureTennis nice
Which do you prefer if you were to use one in a match
Previously, I loved the 100 but now I am enjoying the 98. All depends on your play style. - Vince
Got the same
Awesome!
Is pure aero 98 good for one handed backhand ? I saw that you play with one hb so i wanted to hear the opinion of yours.
Good question! I would say it’s better than the 100 for my one handed backhand yes. But I also stopped playing with the Aero because neither the 100 or 98 worked for my backhand. - Vince
@@AdventureTennis Thanks for the info
What is your normal string/tensions set up? Had an a fantastic initial period with but then found it be a bit erratic or unpredictable.
Interesting… Vince strings it at 54lbs with Toroline Wasabi most of the time. Maybe try some different strings?
@@AdventureTennis Solinco confential is wonderfull with this racket, really !! 46 lbs for me
@@schyzowolfWow! Noted! We will try to get our hands on some to test them out! Thank you!
I second Confidential, but recently Razor Code white is great too for this type of racket; it really helps the control
Can I play like Rafa? Short answer. No. Long answer. Still no.
😂😂😂 well said
Lmao!!!
Are there any other similar racquets to the ezone 100L that are cheaper?
You could try the previous versions of the Ezone or the previous versions of the Babolat Pure Drive.
Just put another overgrip or add the same amount of weight to the handle, it's definitely more maneuverable and it's a beast, especially for doubles. For overhead shots and serves, I was struggling a bit, but when my friend told me he hold the handle up a little bit like the way Nadal hold when he did volley, problem solved.
Add more weight to a already heavy racquet? 😅 Interesting idea
Yes he’s right to suggest this. Not only have I heard of players doing this, but I’ve heard of users modifying the racquet like this…. Thank you I will try it get back to u!!
@@AdventureTennis Just try it and see the different. Btw, I'm short and thin, still handle it, find it easier when being tired compared to other controlled rackets because it's more power 😂
@NukidaTradingOfficial fair enough! We will have to give it a shot!
I have buyer’s remorse. I play better with my old racket. I don’t think it is the weight because my old racket was 324 grams strung and this was 339 without the over grip. But I think it is the weight balance. Very head heavy. I feel like when I make contact right it is good but my swing speed and timing is off. Perhaps that would be fixed with more time.
Thanks for the insight. Time is what I don’t think I can offer this racquet. After about an hour and a half, I start to feel it in my wrist and elbow. But within that time, it’s such a great racquet to pummel balls with. Ppl are saying that Pure Aero Rafa 290g is a viable option if you are struggling with the weight of the Origin. I believe the balance distribution is the same on 290 but nerfed of course. To be honest, this thing only hurts me in my serve.
Thank you for the comment! Definitely a tough racquet to get used to. As Bob mentioned in the review, you have to start your preparation and acceleration a little sooner to compensate for the extra weight. Hopefully you can make it work!
Jail him!
Agreed
image looks unreal
Thank you!! 🙏🏽
@@TennCom HE has spoken
Vamos! Plot twist I kept the racquet in my rotation/bag

Felt right at home with this one. Could really commit to my swings, but it does take a toll on the arm.
U were hitting amazing esp on the FH side!!

nice followup video! what's your preferred string for the Ezone 100?
Bumping this- would also love to know!
Personally, both Bob and I (Vince) have been loving the Toroline. I like the Pink and Darker Pink ones. Super durable and grippy.
Love head racquets❤
They are special! 🫶🏽
