Am I the only one that actually loves Renge? She is so funny, and in every episode i was waiting for her to add some information. Also, in some ways, she has a similar role to Kyoya and they could have made a funny duo. It's sad that she didnt even have a second of screen time in the last episode 😢.

I feel like they should just do a remake at this point. If Fruits Basket could get a remake that follows the manga a lot better than the old version, then I'm certain they could do so for Ouran too.

This is one anime that seems to always have a sliver of presence which is really rare for anime this old. Fruits Basket got a reboot, so hopefully this will too!

This anime has had a special place in my heart for so long. Fruits Basket is the best Shoujo out there. (Don't hate me but I feel like this anime is perfect)

I swear to got all my favorite shows either don't get another season or are cancelled. I too want Ouran to come back, just as much as I want another season of ROTTMNT. It really sucks that a lot of people sleep on both shows. You'd think anime shonen fans would JUMP on Rise for it's shonen level friendship and fights. I hope Netflix can do something good for both.

I'm heart broken. You didn't mention Black Queen Kyoya. As if that wasn't the best part about the Haruhi In Wonderland chapter.

Aaaahhhh this was so good!!! 😭 i’m glad I’m not the only one still fixated on this series nearly 20 years later. I would love to see a version of this video that isn’t spoiler free and goes into a lot more detail, because I’m blind and can never read the manga, and I want to so desperately

the halloween chapter in the manga is what completely solidified my adoration for Hikaru

I love Ouran! Its one I still rewatch when I need to watch something thats comforting 😊 I also finally bought the manga box set and binge read in like a week!! I really hope theyd remake it with the original cast like they did Fruits Basket (doubt it with the whole thing with Tamakis VA) but one can hope 🫡

Mori was my favorite character in the anime and after reading the manga, they gave him so much more depth that made me love him more. AND THE FACT that Mori and Haruhi almost became an item!! Besides that, the moment that stuck out the most to me after reading the manga years ago was Megumi Kanoya. They also put her in the live action I think but the fact she was the fantasy Haruhi that Tamaki had for her; ooooh that gave me so much fear that Tamaki would choose her.

Interesting that you included Mori's brother but not the twins' sister. The fact that their sister was cold to them but adored Tamaki added an extra layer to their mockery of him.

The Halloween episode is kinda true? It seem to me that it's based both on the halloween chapter and the courage challenge chapter, on the former the culprit is the twins, on the latter the culprit is the occult club (who are much more promanent in the manga, too).

I'm collecting the manga before I read it, but I always thought it was weird that Kyoya's dad was mad? Connections make their business and his son was doing what he was taught to make the company succeed? I'm glad the manga makes more sense, which just makes my craving for season two less feverish but if it does come out I will watch.

I don't watch anime, but this trailer was so epic.

wow this video is incredible, it is so well edited that it looks like an official trailer.

With the way Studio Passione is handling the reboot of Spice and Wolf this year it makes me hopeful that we might see more (hopefully good) reboots for shows like Ouran, Chobits, and Vampire Knight 🤞 I think the industry saw what a huge hit the Fruits Basket remake was and realized there's definitely a market for breathing new life into these oldies 💕

Yeah, i already realised that after watching the show i should check out the manga.

a remake would be cool but i fear it just wouldnt have the same charm as the original anime. art style is non negotiable for me... that's why i didnt watch the new fruits basket or higurashi because the newer styles bugged me so much 😭

I think the manga super mixed up the timeline. They have a Christmas party as Haruhi's first bug duty as a host with Kanako. But later on they have the 2 Halloween chapters. So according to Ouran for holidays it goes as such. Volume 1- Christmas party. (December) Volume 2- There are no clear dates set in Volume 2. But I believe Physical exams in japan are normally place end of March early April (but Ouran Academy probably can choose when to hold it so I'm counting counting this as an exact date. ) Volume 3- We have the Haloween curse/prank chapter. (October) Volume 5- Summer vacation in Karauizawa (July- August) Volume 6- We have the school cultural festival which is typically held November 3rd. (Although given it's Ouran Academy I'm sure they don't have to hold to the same timeline as most Japanese public schools. (November) Volume 8- another Halloween episode (October) Volume 10- Another summer vacation established (Tamaki is working at Mizuzu's pension to distract himself from his feelings for Haruhi.) (July -August) Volume 14- Haruhi is invited by Hikaru to a New Years eve party (December/ January) Volume 15- Hunny and Mori graduate (March) This is not to diss the Manga but I find it funny how weirdly bent the timeline is. I wouldn't have really noticed if I didn't write fanfic for Ouran and realized since I was following the plot of the manga that I had written the Halloween episode after the Christmas one.

Idk if I can read the manga now cause I'll just want a redo of season 1 as well 😂 hopefully they'll do something like fruits basket did and how much of a success that was ❤
