Valve stem without the valve in it!
Just did my first tow with my new 2025 JT Texas Trail Edition. WOW !!!! It tows way better than my Gen 3 Tacoma Offroad with tow package. And you are right. It's not that the Taco is under powered, it's the transmission. The 8 speed destroys the Toyota hands down. Great video !!!!! 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it and congrats on the new rig! Thanks for watching!
A beautiful car! What size wheels do you have?
Thanks! They are 17” XD Series wheels wrapped with BFGoodrich KM3 33x12”
Seriously why do we have to do this, it’s just more wasted plastic and shipping parts. Nothing environmentally friendly about it. I spill more gas with the safety feature than you can imagine lol
Oh 100%!
Love from India
Does this extend the rear of the seat or only the front? Thanks
Only the front.
Did you have to do a front end alignment? Thanks
No, since I didn’t touch any of the steering components and it’s only a 1.5” level my alignment stayed true. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
I’ve had the same exact issue with my brakes coming up on 2 years!! Done everything you have. Went from oem slotted and grooved to R1 slotted and just put on a plain Brembo. Oem pads to red stuff. Did the noise ever go away?
Dang it! Mine are still as squeaky as ever! So frustrating. If you find a solution let me know!
Bigger gap in the front now?
If you plan on running more weight in the bed regularly I’d probably just stick with the 1” puck and not add the additional 1/2 inch. With no load in the rear it sits perfectly level with the 1.5 inch puck.
Yeah, I'm definitely about to buy one for my bike. That looks so nice. Thank you, Sir. Hopefully I can get it with one day shipping.
I dont think they sell it anymore
I think you’re right. I was able to find it here in a bundle. racespecsurron.com/race-spec-surron-x-light-bee-essentials-pro-pack/
Will it work for a surron ultra?
The Ultra would be too heavy. At 187lbs you’d need a rack more suited for a motorcycle. Harbor Freight sells one that would work pretty well at a decent price.
So your only tool is a leatherman? Nice video man. Good work.
Ya, I keep more tools in the vehicle but I was trying to keep the bag pretty minimal and light if you have to go on foot but if you have any recommendations I’d love to share with the viewers. Thanks for watching! 🙏
Subscribed.
Is the picture clarity better than iPhone?
Probably depends on which iPhone but the latest iPhone is a better camera and action mode is great but can’t beat the form factor of the action 2.
Sillcock key
Dji osmo action 2 vs insta360 go 3s? Which has better details in 4k? Which is better for pov?
Both are great cameras but I think it really depends on your use case. Action 2 form factor for POV is hard to beat but for capturing super unique shots and not missing the shot due to mounting angle or body position, the insta360 has the advantage.

I would take that bivy bag out & use it at least once before you need to use it. I can’t stand them. I’ve tried multiple times to use them b/c they’re so compact. However, you will either wake up wet or freeze from the condensation. They really don’t breathe at all even if they say they do. You also need a couple of trash bags or extra poncho you can use to make a brows bed out of to battle conduction.
I am thinking on buying one for my sur ron ligth bee. How has it been going after 2 years ? Does it hold sur ron weight?
It still works great. I have a friend that’s been running the 1up double with 2 Sur Rons and no issues. I do remove the batteries while it’s on the rack.
En fixant la cam sur la moto tu aura peut être un meilleur stabilisation de l'horizon..
Great suggestion!
Good on you mate, great to hear your positive mindset about staying prepared. Just a couple of suggestions; Keep all of your medical kit together, rather than spread between different pouches, also have some trauma kit such as a tourniquet, an Israeli bandage and Celox a warm layer and waterproof layer a map of your local area a notebook and pens/pencils a whistle a multitool a folding saw to be able to process wood. Cheers from England 👍
Great advice, thanks for sharing!
Hey I want to be there. I guess I’m stuck in Arizona putting insulation in my garage attic at 110 degrees. Much funner than you off road expo!😢
Was this more comfortable than the stock seat? Any things you don’t like about it? I like the style but worried about the longevity of it
I would say the stock seat is more comfortable but the advantage of being able to shift your weight forward in corners I found outweighed the comfort factor for me personally.
My grandpa always said “you can’t get home without a tooth brush or a tick puller”…
Do you use that fire extinguisher on the back of your vehicle?….or those traction mats?….😮💨
I’ve used the traction boards but have not had to bust out the fire extinguishers yet which is probably a good thing 🙂
Sweet project!
One thing to keep in mind if your get home bag is in any way set up for an urban environment is to make sure that your bag stands out as little as possible. Generally I say that if you're going to go with something that has Molly webbing on it don't attach anything to the outside unless it's something like a tourniquet pouch with a tourniquet inside of it or an emergency trauma kit filled with the absolute essentials that you would need to access in a hurry. Also make sure that you get the bag in a color that hopefully won't stand out at all. Also, I'd say just drop the electric lighter for a couple of regular bics. The arc just doesn't behave the same as the flame of a bic. Plus jt can take some finagling to make it work.
Great advice! The gray man theory is a good strategy.
Gray man is a waste. When something happens, everyone will be a target, especially if you're wearing a backpack. It won't matter what color it is or if it has molle or not. Gray man was intended to be used before all of this got really popular and is no longer viable, in my opinion. Just like bugging out was intended to be used before everyone else found out about it, now it's a fools errand....
Junk
7:13 sillcock key. Get them at lowes or Home Depot.
ditch the lifestraw for a katadyn be free
Katadyn’s are great! I do have the stainless steel version that I take backpacking.
Always good to be prepared 👍
💯
Great advice on preparedness.
Glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!
You can also watch Mid Life Adventures and the Balkans Adventure Series.
Yes,I love it! 😀
Heck yeah, man. I can't wait till you get your buggy done. I've been punching brand new canyons. Each one i'm trying to make harder than the last, so build that sucker good bro
Yeah buddy! I need to get my butt in gear.
5:39 i appreciate seeing my truck in other peoples videos!
So awesome! I’m glad I captured it. Thanks for watching!
it's cool but is it really worth 630? load capacity is only100 🥲
Hard to know. Definitely pricey but has worked well with no issues.
How do I get the longest video. Mine was overheating in like 4 mins
I had a similar issue until I discovered the high temp feature. I talk about it in this video th-cam.com/video/tKC0jNFVKvU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Xq0P2y3dqWqRw62d
I put a set of these in my Bronco Sport Badlands last year. I tow a small travel trailer and the rear end would squat quite a bit due to the Badlands soft off road springs. After putting them in it barley goes down with the trailer attached. I am running them at 25 psi with the trailer,5psi without. I am very happy with the results. I have yet to go off road with them in to see if I loose some articulation.
That’s awesome, glad they are working out! Thanks for watching!
Did you hear the story of the couple who's Jeep SUV blew out both airbags on the rear axle? It was a brand new Jeep Wagoneer. No, they weren't doing crazy off road stuff.
No I didn’t but thanks for sharing, I’ll definitely keep an eye on them. Thanks for watching!
What size wheel and rim and is there a lift on the jeep ?
Stock tires are 285/70R17. The big tires are 38.5x12.50 R15 but they wouldn’t actually fit. I have a leveling kit on it that could easily clear 35s maybe 37s with the proper wheel offset.
Need more VehiCross action on the channel 😉
Haha I’ll see what I can do.
Don't need a center post. If anything add another 2x6 header across the front. LOOKS GREAT!!!
Awesome, thanks for watching!
I also wanted to die on that rock at 12:20 ha ha! I call it "tantrum rock" 😂
Haha I love it! Thanks for watching!
Passing of an era with the TJ leaving 😢
I know right! Crazy that it’s gone. You probably never thought I’d sell it lol
Looks awesome!! Love it!!
Would it be good to add some washers or anything?
You certainly could. I just used what came with the seat and what was already on the Sur Ron.
Annoying your wife never happens!
Only because she expects it now haha.
Haha! Love it. That hotel looks super fun.
It was pretty cool, I think you'd like it.
Just found your channel i have a bone stock 2023 Gladiator Rubicon with the 3.0 ecodiesel. Ive been debating a lift but might just do the 1.5 leveling kit and 35s once my tires are worn. I was impressed with your rig on stock tires
That’s awesome! I’ve been happy with just the leveling kit right now and it could definitely clear 35s. Thanks for watching!
nice solution, is it ok with disks and sprocket?
Yes, I ended up adjusting it a bit so the disks aren’t touching the tire retention bars.
