Let's put it this way, the massive amount of targets hasn't exactly made Wilson a fantasy star anyway. But, you're spot on. The defense has to focus on Adams now too AND Wilson's skillset and route running should make him very effective in the slot with Adams on the outside. I think Wilson could be a savvy buy-low option right now. But overall, the Adams trade benefits Brock Bowers the most. He's likely either TE1 or TE2 rest of season.

Yikes, yeah those names don't equal a strong start to the season. Great move grabbing McBride and dropping Andrews. I dropped Andrews last week to pick up Chase Brown because I got Tucker Kraft. Andrews will have some good games probably this season, but he won't help anyone because he won't be in any lineups. What healthy active RBs do you currently have?

@TheDawgsFantasy Not a strong start at all but we shall see! I picked up Chase Brown 2 weeks ago and got Trey Sermon while Taylor was out, and just after picking up Bigsby in the waivers today!

Well that's definitely a nice contingency plan, great job staying active on the waivers! I think Chase Brown will be a startable RB2 over the second half of the season, and Bigsby could be a weekly flex or better depending on how that situation unfolds. He looks like the better runner right now in JAX.

Well, Momma, you're SOL because Justin doesn't do any social media haha so Josh here--but--I would definitely start Brock Purdy over A-Rich this week. I think the Steelers are going to force him to continue to make mistakes. Purdy has New England at home, much better matchup, NE can be beat through the air. I have A-Rich in two leagues this year and I am benching him in both this weekend, just to reaffirm that I'm taking my own advice on this!

After two weeks of down production for LaPorta, you might be able to swing this move. Is the other manager weak at RB or WR or had any of the major injuries?

That's where I'm at. New staff came in and had Spears served up on a silver platter, ripe for the opportunity. And they immediately signed Pollard. So I think he will end up being the more valuable fantasy asset.

Is it full PPR or half? And what other WRs and RBs do you have? Since this video, we've learned that Kirk was not on the field in 2-WR sets, and Brian Thomas Jr. looks like he might be more involved from the start than we originally believed. Without any other info, I'd suggest Ekeler due to the Commander's lack of receiving options.

@@TheDawgsFantasy it’s half ppr, I’m just scared that Ekeler will be phased in and they’ll respect Brob in the beginning of the season as the main guy. At least with Kirk, he can provide good flex value with 3-5 catches which I think he should get

I don't think you're wrong in your thinking. Ekeler could very well be washed, but he showed last year he's still got the receiving chops. I don't think either is a bad choice, there are pros and cons with both.

That's a nice looking team...24 hour picks?! Holy crap, that's a long clock haha we've only ever done 4 or 8 hour pick slow drafts. So how many keepers, or is this like a dynasty league?

@@TheDawgsFantasy Keeper league 10 players as keepers. Draft took a few days but we all work different hours.

So it's not far from being a full-fledged dynasty. And slow drafts are becoming more popular, they definitely help with leagues that have members from different areas and all working different hours. I think in a few years, you'll see more and more leagues adopt this drafting style.

Dynasty team or redraft for 2024? Seems pretty solid, love the Goff/ARSB stack, tons of PPR coming there. London could have a huge season. Kupp is a value in redraft right now. I like Stevenson and Pollard, probably not many moves you can make in a 14-team to upgrade much. Suck that Chubb is your only real third option, and he won't be ready until who knows when. Benson could be good if Connor gets injured, but that's a dependent situation. I'd try to package Benson and Keon or Polk and try to upgrade at RB from the Connor manager...or possibly try to acquire Connor for your squad.

Maybe a little hyperbolic, but 40-45 is not out of the question especially if the run game struggles at all.

He's definitely the ideal RB target if you go WR-heavy and grab a TE or QB early too. Offense will be improved over last season and he'll be the primary focal point.

The Cleveland news media have been trying to run him out since he got here, so they aren't exactly a beacon of truthful opinions. I just find it difficult to say he's not good at throwing while he's throwing accurate deep passes and facilitating an offense that blew out 3 opponents in 5 games.

@@TheDawgsFantasy It's sad that you have to spin it like that... his "blowouts" had more to do with the best defense in the league. He didn't throw for more than two touchdowns in any game or break 300 yards. His rating was hot garbage in 3 of those 5 games. Just curious, what do you consider a "deep" ball? For example, how many passes did he have over 20 yards in 2023?

Sorry man, we ain't spinning nothing. Can't hold it against a QB that his defense is good and he's already led his offense to a 3+ score lead. 300 yards is a weird Madden stat that a lot of people seem obsessed with, and to be fair he did have 3 TDs against the Titans, but one of the worst officiating blunders in history took one away. I guess that all goes to say, if you don't like him, just don't draft him.

1.01 is such a not-fun spot haha because there's so much pressure to not get it wrong. Personally, we'll still go CMC 1.01 because we don't believe this will be the falloff season; he showed zero signs of slowing down whatsoever last year and only seems to get stronger as the year went on. CMC is also the only RB of the top 3 to be in the same, stable and proven productive offense. Bijan is still a question with a new coach, OC and QB. Breece is still a question with basically new QB and now more RB depth behind him. I wouldn't fault anyone for calling their shot on Bijan or Breece at 1.01, but our advice would still be lock in CMC and then focus on that 2-3 turn.

Haha nah, don’t sweat the 1.01 and don’t overthink it. Seriously, only way CMC busts is injury, which is the risk you run no matter who you select. WR production is tied to their QB, but RBs can still dominate despite poor QB play. Rock with CMC and then make sure you feel good about who you target for WRs at the 2-3 turn. No curse! Peace of mind at 1.01 and the draft starts for you at 2.14 and 3.01.

Who says the WR market is rough? Honestly, if you have 1.01, I highly recommend taking CMC and knowing you have the best RB in the game. Depending on which RBs and if a QB or TE goes in Round 2, you could have guys like Chris Olave, Nico Collins, Brandon Aiyuk, Mike Evans, Jaylen Waddle available at the 2/3 turn where you could double-tap WR there. But if you're dead set on going WR at 1.01, I would be between CeeDee and Tyreek honestly. I love ARSB, but Tyreek is still an anomaly and a threat to be WR1 every season, and CeeDee figures to be the top receiver in a very pass-heavy offense with a great QB. Let us know if that helped you at all! Best advice, get on Sleeper or another app and start doing mock drafts. Do a bunch where you go CMC at 1.01 and do a bunch where you take a WR and see how your roster builds turn out in each direction.

Is it a 12-team or 10-team league?

@@TheDawgsFantasy it’s a 14 team offline league, I took your advice and ran a few mocks, I ended up with Mike evans, DJ Moore and Terry McLaurin in a 14 team mock draft with cmc, Montgomery and or Swift as my RBs. My team has been some combo of Goff/watson CMC Monty/swift Evans Moore/Mclaurin Flex: McLaurin/Swift La Porta(at the 2/3 turn) With Chubb and C. Kirk as my main bench rotations

14 team? Oh wow, that changes things a little bit as all the positions get thinned out more quickly. We love LaPorta, but in this case you may want to consider another skill position player at 2/3 and try to grab one of Evan Engram, David Njoku or even Jake Ferguson later. Or wait a couple rounds and grab Dalton Kincaid. I would steer away from drafting Chubb this year. It doesn't sound like he's going to play for the first part of the season at least. But we should have a better idea of that situation by the time fantasy drafts roll around. Love Christian Kirk this year. Otherwise that's looking pretty solid for a draft. Very smart pairing Goff with Watson at QB.

Absolutely, if Jeudy can put up decent numbers with that train wreck of an offense in Denver, he can certainly perform well enough in Cleveland.

The Browns? They won't be run heavy this season, Ken Dorsey is there, they'll be running a lot of spread and shotgun. This won't be the Stefanski offense from years past.
