She's a ringer, not a real contestant. A paid actor snuck in by the producers to pull in audiences with a shocking moment in the first episode, who never lasts farther than the premier. The "I ain't no bitch" guy was another, as was the crazy puppet lady. She probably didn't even make the gumbo! You could argue that Raj was also one, but I think he was just batshit insane!

For people wondering, Crystal had her medal taken away because she apparently used performance enhancing drugs during the Olympics. If I remember correctly. Regardless she was TV gold and I’m glad she did this season, Gabon is one of my favorites. It’s hilarious.
