Good stuff. I need all of this bad. 💪🏾
Nobody mentions the importance of maintaining the gaze on the shoulder in the way down. Huge difference in fatigue. Thanks
This video was extremely helpful. Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
You are talking to much man
What were you hoping to watch?
When I do this laying down chin up, I feel a lot of pressure in the back of my skull ? Any idea? Thanks
Great video!
Excellent exercise 🙏🙏
Hi, could overcompensation of the deltoid for other muscles contribute to a decreased deltoid muscle tone (stuttering when abducting)? Like anterior humeral glide
I was born with the left muscle very underdeveloped, almost non existent. I gonna give this exercise a go to see if it can be grown back to equal the right side. Many thanks for this
Why am i able to do it in the first go?(i do body weight exercise regularly but tried this first time)
@@Dilpreetsinghbaath62 just to clarify. You could do it on the first go?
@@theMSKphysio only issue i am facing is that when i want go up my body move forward to go up what should i do for it
Hi doc! I get the painful arc when doing incline dumbells and pain doing pull down movements and also reaching out front. I saw another video that seems to explain that I have a torn supraspanatis. Does it get better on its own without surgery? I’m trying to figure out what caused it in the first place. Do you think heavy side lateral movements could cause it? Or could it be more overuse injury just from pressing in the gym over time. I try to use good form the best I can but I do go pretty heavy on incline dumbbells. I hate not knowing how it was caused. I’m really lean now too so I wonder if I’m more susceptible to injury at lower body fat? Thanks for the help.
Hi Kieran, I recently tweaked what I think is the back upper muscles you discuss here in the second exercise while photographing overhead - the thing is I’m experiencing bilateral neck and mid/upper thoracic pain. Anytime,I try to pick anything heavy up my shoulders flare up badly. I’m basically disabled at the moment.Could these symptoms possibly be related to the tweak in the upper neck ? Man I wish u lived in Dubai
Is there an ideal number of reps and sets?
You have some awesome videos that are a big help. Maybe I missed the video. Did you ever make a video for leg and arm amputees? Thank you,
Hello Sir I have carpi ulnaris pain since 9months, i was boxing and then I felt the pain and it wont go away.If I make this exercises, do u think I can recover again to boxing because I needed to stop with everything. And do u have any more tips?Have a nice day!
Amazing. Thank you!
Pleasure!
Thanks for that using the block tip. Its a much deeper stretch than using the wall. Instant relief!

2:35. I think her pelvis is opening up slightly towards the non-working leg. If viewed from the rear, her pelvic line is not horizontal.
Would this be good for tos which keeps tightening all the muscles in my neck in the right side, same side that causes all the arm and shoulder symptoms as well as numbness in the face
@madelainamurphy4709 good question. TOS is multifactorial. I'd recommend that patients need to identify the combination of interventions that will work for them. This has the potential to be an aggravating exercise. Neck specific exercises certainly play a role at some point in the journey. Starting with breathing exercises is potentially a friendly place to begin - like this belly breathing here - th-cam.com/video/Y-qRNKX4Ro8/w-d-xo.html Here are a couple articles on breathing to consider - www.themusculoskeletalclinic.co.nz/articles/are-you-breathing-to-your-potential www.themusculoskeletalclinic.co.nz/articles/breathing-for-activity

This is helpful! And you're hot 🙈
My ankles aren’t the problem, my knees don’t bend that far (like my butt does NOT touch my heels at my full range)
Mfs be watching this to beat their class in arm wrestling, and me in fact is one of them too😂
Fire the cameraman why won't he cover legs position
Hi, would this exercise help reduce an inward neck/excessive cervical lordosis? Thanks!
@@robk9330 you're probably looking for a flexion based exercise like this one - th-cam.com/video/5R_ItKFzJMM/w-d-xo.html
good exercise.
Hi! Th thanks for this video. Very rare to find a video on the topic. My MRI did not show tendinitis and I’ve seen multiple specialists a few of which agreed because of the non-specificity of the MRI and description of my symptoms. That is most likely tenosyvitis of the flexor carpi radialis, not tendinopathy. Would these exercises help with that? Thanks!
Very good cues. I realized I was extending my back, thanks
No problem!
Thus is good for Cancer patients!
This video has been a great help understanding these concepts thanks !

Fantastic ❤
Hello! How can I avoid tension on the lower back? The sides of my lower back get super worked up
If the tension is bothersome then try to make the stretch less intensive. Even a medium intensity stretch will have similar range increases to a high intensity stretch. When stretching something at high intensity, other muscles will tense up. The goal here is softness. Hope that helps!
@@theMSKphysiothank you!!
A 35-year-old female, post-knee surgery, experienced difficulty achieving full knee extension during rehabilitation exercises, limiting her ability to regain functional mobility A) Active insufficiency in quadriceps B) Passive insufficiency in hamstrings C) Active insufficiency in Hamstrings D) Passive insufficiency in quadriceps

Could be A or B!
Thanks for this
Hey i since a few days i cant do my 17 rep working weight even 60 70 percent of it anymore for even 1 rep. And i got pain after and while this iny right delt more rear delt area. What should i do, how can i got my strenght back? Its just on this exercise. When i do this unilateral leaning in so i can get a little more rear Delt stretch i can this with 32 each arm for reps (my both arm weight was 63 its indenticle) butvalso with pain but at least i dont get weaker there.
Hi. Sorry to hear about your pain! I can't answer specifics over TH-cam. With any exercise, if it is increasing intolerable pain I advise to stop and try something else or lower the weight. If the issue persists, see a local physio for an assessment to determine your specific needs!
@@theMSKphysio thanks, i Just have trained Some DB incline, db Bench, chin ups pullups and light Overhead Press with very little to Zero pain IT seems to progressivly Go away
i've been sleeping incorrectly and it has taken effect on my neck, giving me back posture and my neck slouches forward, i'm not sure if this is in your knowledge or depertment to know but i want to ask if you could help please? thanks.
Hi there. I can't answer specific questions over TH-cam as I don't have your injury history and don't know the specific situation. In regards to slouching, it isn't always a bad thing. You can try this exercise which helps with building flexibility that is the opposite of slouching - th-cam.com/video/KzwlwstWu1w/w-d-xo.html
@@theMSKphysio thanks
amazing video, when turning my neck right it hurt (it started from when i believe i stretched a neck muscle too hard(also this happened like 1 month ago and had alr dissapeared))this video helped me with my nonexistent problems

I had a misdiagnosed whiplash that was treated as a concussion and I was in bed for basically 15 months laying down 17 hours a day and my neck and body atrophied. I’ve had all sorts of symptoms because apparently the other muscles compensating. 24 yrs old attime of the injury, previous college wrestler, so a very strong body, but I was told by my physical therapist friend that the deep flexors are extremely atrophied Hoping this routine will help because my SCM is so tight that when I hold my head up for any period of time I get woozy and have difficulty thinking, restrictive mobility. Can even give burning nerve pain behind the eyes top of the skull down my shoulders, and also been diagnosed with intermittent convergence excess which I never had before.
i am 50 years old , taught myself the splits after watching van damme back in 1988 , i can still do a mean side and front split , although people differ in what they think is best positionally for the hips it is a physiological and ergonomical fact that tilting the pelvis opens up for greater range of flexibility - Thomas Kurz very worthwhile videos on this subject matter .
