Any freedate ebike machanics around the Boston area? Look and sounds all good but to deal with them though emails and sending wrong parts . Fixed the code readings now I DONT HAVE PEDDLE ASSIST , just electric power?

Has it a thru axle on front? Should be a requirement for all ebikes, much safer.

Not a 45 degree incline. 45% maybe(22.5 degree). Federal roads are maximum 8% (3.6 degrees)

I think cadence sensors and torque sensors should both come on bikes. I think they could blend both of them electronically for a better experience. I think all parameters should be programmable and those sensors should be available for single use of either one too.

All that area of Florida is great for cycling, the variety of terrain and scenery is incredible. As you mentioned, the only sketchy part was the traffic in a small section.

Bus and bike lane on that bridge are one and the same???? Wow! That's an accident waiting to happen. What are you expected to do if you see a bus coming up from behind?

Great review! I have small children, I plan to use an e-bike to haul them in a hitch trailer. I’ve heard Cadence Sensors are unsafe for that purpose as it’s jerky compared to Torque sensors, does this bike have a bad jerk motion? Other than that I felt it’s the perfect bike.

What's the range on throttle only

does anyone know if this e bike can do 28mph the full speed of the bike on throttle alone or does it need pedal assist.

I just got this bike myself, and at 6'4'' tall I find the seat position and the size of this bike to be perfect. The Ranger S would be a better match/similar bike to replace it with for people less gifted in altitude. Almost exactly the same specs in terms of speed and range and the frame construction is similar, if not exactly the same.

All you have to do is get rid of the shock absobing seat so you can put a seat you can adust downwards

They also sell a step thru folding model. I am sure my next bike will have a torque sensor, since I pedal all the time anyway.

Great video!. I heard this bike suffers a lil from ghost pedaling. Would upgrading to a bigger sprocket help with that? If so, what would u recommend?

Can you use throttle only?

I had this bike but got rid of it. Issue I didn't like was the battery percentage would drop to zero while riding then fluctuated to the percentage. That created range anxiety not knowing what the true battery percentage was. Adding tannus liners reduced it down 2 mph.

Of course it’s deceptive! I hate when companies do that- Lectric does it too!

did u put tannis in those tires? was it about 120 bucks? where is a good price on those. super expensive

Hey JC I would like to know if you set up a ramp into that pond right there and at full speed going off the ramp would the bike nose drive at take off? When I was a kid we did that with our BMX bikes and the adrenaline rush is like going down the causeway on rollerblades 😜

Have a Heybike Mars. Love it but unfortunately it's not low enough for me. Lots of power & stability.

There is no assurance this company will exist in 5-7 years when battery needs replacing, therefore it’s a risk that your bike may end up as scrap metal - unless you want to pay exuberant prices to get a battery refurbished - it’s also possible that battery tech will have changed by then and the batteries for bikes will be different somehow. A bike should be a lifetime investment, but so far, I’m not sure e-bikes are designed with that in mind, might just be throw-away like so many other products.

No. When you have a cadence sensor it's like air pedaling and frankly it sucks.

You can program that in the app. Just set your PAS 1 or 2 and set it for 10 mph, then your throttle will hold it there when you push it. Also, I thought the tires came with a puncture protection layer inside.

I’m confused? You say that you get wheel spin in fine sand just give it less throttle no need for a different system.
