Exploring the beautiful Enchanted Creek VA
Today we decided to go explore the Enchanted Creek in Virginia. Its only open from August 1st to January. The drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway was a beautiful drive and exploring the Enchanted Creek was a sight to see! The best part about it was it was not flat!

This trip was to explore unknown trails and in hopes to find primitive camping sites and amazing views!

This was our first camping trip of the year and we took a trail that was very rocky and was along a beautiful ridge that felt like we were going to tip over from being top heavy for this trail. We made it through and saw a baby black bear run in front of us. We get to a beautiful camp spot along the river which was absolutely stunning with the sound of the falls and the birds!

We decided to check out this trail as it was failrly close to home. It was a beautiful Sunday morning with lots of views. We weren't able to finish due being low on gas. But it was a peaceful ride.
Exploring Pads Creek in Virginia

This trail has been on my radar and on OnX off-road it was rated 6 with the deep water crossings but I couldn't find much info about it so I took the plunge literally and went to scout it out. Beautiful camping by the river and multiple water crossings with the last one around 3 feet. I hope you enjoy this one as much as we did!

The water was high this day from all the rain we received but it’s still amazing to see and relaxing!

I've been eyeing this one for a while, but haven't made the trip yet. I'm wondering if I should pack a life jacket! :D
It was a lot of fun and I definitely recommend it checking it out! Most of the water crossings were low but the last one was the highest and depending on the weather it could get a little higher. Definitely check this one out if you like water crossings!

I have a gladiator on 37’s and she has a 392 Rubicon XR. Hopefully the rain doesn’t have the last crossing impassable.
Im curious to see how the rain affected it? I’ve been wanting to check it out while it rains.
@@TrailWolf83 couldn’t pass the second to last crossing. Swamped one Jeep had to pull plugs out n get water out his motor. The last crossing would have been a definite no go. I still loved the trail. Wanna go back on a weekend hike hat we haven’t had any rain cause I wanna make the last 2 crossings
@@TrailWolf83 we got some wild pics and videos of the jeep that got swamped. Water was about 2” below his passenger window. It was wild.
@@user-mx8bh3ds8f oh man that is unfortunate to hear! I would have liked to have to seen the trail that day! Definitely make it back again to do those crossings when the water is right. I heard Broad Run is another good water trail to check out.
@@TrailWolf83 we actually are doing Broad Run on the 28th of this month it’s next Sunday I think.
Great video! We have a group hitting Pads Creek tomorrow. It’ll be my first time and my wife’s first time. Looks like an amazing trail. I’m excited!

I have to agree with you there! I went back to West Virginia today to check out Canyon Rim thinking it would be snow. It’s definitely beautiful when there is snow.

That was my first one and enjoyed it. But I didn’t realize you needed to check in with the app to get the badge. So I’ll have to redo that one.

This is a very similar trail to the one I was just on, in Pocono Mountains Pennsylvania.
I’ve been wanting to get out to the Pocono’s. Any recommendations?
@@TrailWolf83 The one in my video was at Pinchot State Forest. It’s an easy 2/10 trail. There was a part where I couldn’t squeeze through and had to go back. Take a peek and see.
