1955 Moves on her own!

1955 moves on her own for the first time since the 80’s! Find your good head set if you like the nice music of the 310 turbo!

Happy birthday big foot !
Ty
I had 1855 few years back. I miss that sound. Too bad they have such a bad reputation. They are actually good once they're put together right.
Beautiful equipment 💯👊💪🙏
I would love to trade the day with you man, enjoy it
Where y’all located?
Nice big feet
I’d like to own one someday!
My family used to own 3 of these
That's very interesting that it has the round hydraulic levers off the newer 1655s. I wonder if that was what you got if you opted out of the hydra-electric system, or if they switched that from a 1655
It is a very late 1650 so it might have some mixed in parts. We have a very late 1750 that has some 55 parts on it as well.
@@bigfoot-wo3qy I used to work on a farm that had a 1655 that had the square levers on it. Which is the way they bought it used in the mid 70s. Always seemed funny to me
Awesome!!!! I have a question, I had my 1650 diesel engine overhauled at a diesel shop. My oil pressure seems low. I only get about 35psi cold at pto rpm, and about 20 psi at hot temp. Should I dig deeper? Thanks!
Sounds great big feet
Sounds great!! Out of curiosity how tall is your shop doors?
Runs really nice!
How tall is you cran?
I don’t really know for sure but it barely fits through our 15’ door
Hmm sumptin wrong here….I’ll see if I can fix the quality
Wow you are moving right along with that. Looks awesome can't wait to hear it fire up.
Wow what a beautiful machine I am sick with envy 🤢
Fits right in at your place!!
Beautiful! I like it!
Snap on torque wrench! Some guys got all the $$$$ 🤣🤣🤣
They collect a lot of dust anymore….lol
Akerly and Childs AC-RC3875 Engine Piston Ring Compressor for 3.875" Bore Size Piston a.co/d/3jiXa28
I was trying to tell you but you did it anyway
I’ve never seen a tool like that where can I get on please
Actually pretty much any major parts store. Mine was on Amazon
I figured out how to share the ring compressor
Many thanks sir I’ll be getting one of those. Now I need to find a good 310 that someone removed for a Cummins repower
Impressive collection
Lol….old video
Audio is way better
Thank you
Another awesome video sir, that’s what my block looked like 200 hours after the complete overhaul because I didn’t know about updating the rod bolts. But hey I got to experience all the fun twice lol. You probably don’t let any of your parts go but if you do I would really like to buy that engine the way it sits for another 4 digit project
Block is actually junk otherwise I’d be welding it up.
Did you run the new engine?
Yes, on the generator stand. Had fueling issues due to to me not knowing about the electrical shut off but it ran. Not on video unfortunately due to having visitors while doing so.
Carnage is great as long as I don't have to pay for it.😁
What show are you talking about. I would like to go see some Cockshutt tractors if it is somewhat close to me. Thank you for the videos
Nowthen, mn
Something’s not right…. You didn’t twist off one of the bolts that holds the hydraulic sheet metal on. This is supposed to be a six day project in my experience 🤣
Lol……I was pissed today when I realized that I didn’t record any of the first hose replacement. Had 2 pictures that’s it. Guess I need to pay more attention trying to turn the damn thing on and off. And clean the dang lens…..grrr
@@bigfoot-wo3qy Technology can be aggravating. I have that same problem all the time. The other day I got the lens dirty and didn’t realize until I edited the video
Thanks for the shout out!
I'm sure it won't be the last time!
I linked you and RTOM in my description for "oliver merch"
Thanks!
Did ok once you got it turned on. Continue talking normal when running equipment, you had static in your voice when you raised it at the end . Just my thoughts
Ya I cut out the fumbling at the beginning to turn it on…lol I think the static at the end might be from the large amount of background noise but yes I will try talking normally next time.
Awesome video sir I have my 1955 now I’m looking for a 1950-T and a 1955 4x4 open station
No 1950-T yet but it’s on our short list. No 1955 4wd yet either. But someday maybe.
That genset engine has all the goodies. The lifting eye and solid return boots on the injectors.
I should get something like that. Sounds good.
I need to have a fan running in the shop and I hate videos where they are talking but you have a hard time hearing them or walk away and still jabber. The first few of this rebuild series will have background hum. I may not even post them or fast forward through some spots as it seems the camera really picks up the fan and mottles the rest
I don't hear any background noise
That's what I'm hoping for. In the shop I always have something running...lol
Sounds good
Thank you!
What brand of generator is this? Seems like a good way to find a low hour Waukesha..
I rattle it off at the beginning I’ll see if I can hear myself
Lima
Awesome video sir I’ve been waiting for this one, well all your videos but especially the 1955
Thank you, many more coming!
Can't wait tell that one is fished
OMG Alan! Down in front! LOL
You caught me, i was sitting at the table in front of the taco stand toward the end of the video.
That was good chow…..lol
@@bigfoot-wo3qy and a shorter line than the BBQ place 🤣
I love those Red stripe Whites!
The 2 180 sure looks good pulling the disk
Couldn't have wanted a better day
I’m hoping the quality pics up after it’s processed
Good video finest in farm machinery
My dad had a 1855 and a 1955 both had straight pipes on them.
This one does not anymore. Very loud with a canopy….lol
Bigfoot1803! You seen a bigfoot? They're out there! They're real!
What a beast. I’m only about 8 miles south of where greenbergs was. Our closest dealer was in Corcoran. (Gone in the 90s) Are you active in any of the Oliver Clubs?
I was a member in the past. To busy to be active….lol. We have another Greenburgs tractor I’ll put up a video of at some point, good story on that one as well
@@bigfoot-wo3qy we are active in the Northland Oliver Club, just wondering if I’ve met you. I get the busy part!
I’m thinking I will try to bring the 1755 and 1855 cockschutt to nowthen show this year. I doubt I will have the 1955 done. But never know.
@@bigfoot-wo3qy we are always there, pulling something green!
I have pulled there in the past.
