    I mean...... Yuki is small.. To me it comes to 3 main reasons. A - I think it's just the nature of motorsport to not be open up to women. B - There is not many women in the sport so there are lesser chance to get talented pilot. C - There are very few seat available.

    He needs to within 0.2 of Max to keep his seat. Plus he needs to bring sponsors in. Not as fast as yuki or get more points at same time. If yuki beats him in any part of race weekend in 1st half of year. Needs to be shutted and make way for yuki.

    I knew straight away who made that comment about imagining the button on his wheel was her nipple so being gentle with it. Can’t imagine anyone saying anything like that today 😂😂😂 But fair play to her for being a good sport about it. As she said it was just mates messing about and DC has always had a cheeky and a bit dirty sense of humour.

    • @Drenwickification

      Drivers will always want it open when ever they are allowed pretty much. In rain it gets disabled when it’s deemed too unsafe anyway. It has to basically be dry or only slightly wet for DRS to be enabled.

      Sadly not possible in f1 as the men are genetically stronger pound for pound and therefore can handle the g’s and force needed for turning the car breaking etc. maybe in Indycar, nascar or rally we will see such a thing maybe even in GT but not in f1

      @@Bruh-e2fwhile it is true that the average man is stronger than the average woman, with F1 we aren’t talking about average. The beauty of motorsport is that it doesn’t matter your race, religion, sex, or even age, all that matters is who can get the car around the track fastest, and it’s not a job that can only be completed by men

      @@Bruh-e2fF1 drivers are very lean, they only muscle they have developed more than other athletes are their necks. While a woman might need more training to get to a fitness level of male F1 drivers, the main skills are precision, reaction times, and quick decision making - not things that men have a large advantage in. It's not a combat sport where genetic advantages play a huge role, it's more like as was mentioned in this video where people will let their sons train from 5 years old but wouldn't want their daughters to do the same.

      I guess but didn't we see women included with men in Motorsport like Jamie Chadwick in F2 and F3 and that didn't go well it was a particular woman F1 reserve driver that railed for the change which finally got completed with the w series and now F1 academy However I do believe women can outpace men in motorsport Michelle Mouton being a key example. And Pulling is a pretty good racing driver and dare I say possible even better than couple of male drivers

    • @chimchim2_
      @chimchim2_ 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @joshgeorge728 Chadwick never participated in F3 or F2. The point is that the stereotype will continue until they are allowed to properly compete and prove themselves. Let's be honest, most aren't willing to support and invest in women because they don't believe in them (yet). Not until we cast the stereotypes aside and just evaluate based on talent alone. Unfortunately, this system is necessary because the illusion of "merit" alone isn't enough to overcome this issue.

    01:09:00 This is an interesting discussion. What I would say is that of course across populations male/female there is most likely a big difference in interests, but this is racing, so those girls who wouldn't be into it wouldn't do it. We are interested in finding good female racers. I would also say, just as a bit of advice (forgive me for being presumptuous,) to take a page out of Joe Rogan's book when it comes to podcasts/interviews - agree with the guest, challenge them a little bit here and there, but don't keep pressing the issue. The discussion toward the end about the F1 Academy WDC is kind of weird, especially since you have had the same experience in the category you raced in.

    Guys - enjoying the podcast a real insight into the sport. I think most observers and supporters of motorsport just dont understand how it works. My lad and I raced for 17 years karts then cars up to a reasonable level (a bit of Clio Series and Clio Cup, couple of rounds of Ginetta Supercup, GT Cup) but we ran out of financial steam over COVID and just couldnt rebuild the budget. No regrets and proud of what he we achieved. Keep up the good work.
