Cinematography with music. Improvisation over the jazz standard Beautiful Love
Cinematography with music. End of the shed with some improvisation over the jazz standard Beautiful Love from Victor Young.
Using my Fender Vintage Hot Rod 52 Telecaster guitar direct into the amazing Two Rock Classic through its 1x12 open cab, no pedals used.
Sound was recorded direct to the MixPre II with a Shure KSM313/NE ribbon microphone. Very little mixing and mastering was done and all within Fairligh inside DaVinci Resolve.
Edited and color graded in DaVinci Resolve.
Filmed on the Red Komodo X with Canon L lenses.
I recommend watching in HD on proper speakers or good headphones.

      @@FranciscoAbreuMusic I ended up getting mine at a Guitar Center in Charlotte, NC, off the used rack, as it's called a Nashville Power Tele. That means, it's got the three pickup configuration, but also an acoustic saddle from Fishman under the bridge, so you can run it in Stereo. That's the main reason I got my JP-15 years ago, and finally, I have a backup stereo guitar for it. Fender also seemed to only make those varieties out of their Mexico plants. I was just in the right place at the right time.

    Budda is oddly one of the few amps I own that I feel comfortable leaving it on stand-bye day in and out. The amp actually brings me back to my Peavey days. I can see why Hartley was interested in owning the company. It has similar tone. It wants to play. I'm getting 1/2 power mod. And MV control in rear. Anything else?? I can entertain presence mod, but I don't like messing with original tone. I'm not that into presence much anyhoo.

    What are your thoughts on the Sadowsky Semi-Hollow? I would love to hear your experience with it compared to other semi-hollow, i am thinking about purchasing one. Do you feel like they are worth it? The overtones i hear are incredible.

    • @FranciscoAbreuMusic
      @FranciscoAbreuMusic ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't have much experience playing other semi hollow guitars but compared with a 335 that I have played some times, it is a great guitar for clean tones and Jazz. Because of not having a full middle wood peace like the 335 has, the Sadowsky comparatively, has a bit more air, sounds more opened and acoustic I would say. If you want more that blues, or push more those overdrive tones with sustain, I would prefer the 335 as it responds naturally better to that. I might be wrong...

    are you using the waza for attenuation ?.... if so does it work better then the master volume?...thanks....sounds great !!

    • @FranciscoAbreuMusic
      @FranciscoAbreuMusic ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Scott. As the Master volume has a direct influence on the type of sound you have (it's related to the tube on the power section) and the way the amp breaks up, I would say that you have more control by using the Waza as a real master controller for your overall volume. In that way you can shape the sound as you wish and maintain your desired tone. This is obviously only logical if you are pushing the amp. If not, then yes, just skip the Waza and use the master volume. The thing is, this amp is LOUD and almost impossible to have it at bedroom levels even having a master volume (it really does not decrease the volume in a gradual way under a certain point). Hope this helped, cheers.

      From What I know, The original was completely hand wired and the series II is hand wired on the power amp section and PC board on the pre amp stage. I love my series II and feel its extremely consistent and reliable sound wise. From what I read, sometimes there were some deferences between the same amp model on the original version.
