Nice channel, BTW. This game is on my backlog. I bought it with the PS Stars reward program, and was interested in buying the DLC. Thanks for the review, but $12 seems high for an indie expansion. I paid $8 for Hollow Knight complete edition. At least 75 hours of gameplay. That's a bona fide classic!

The only tutorial I have seen about cashing crab since it actually shows the location of the harder to find crabs.

Why the dlc for dredge are so negatively reviewed on steam?

Well, I almost never turn on my lights at night, and in so doing have never seen a single crow and I have more cargo space. I tried turning the lights on to reduce panic a few times, but it didn't seem to do anything and the NPCs said it makes the monsters angry, so I just stopped turning them on.

A tip I've found for anyone who's fishing... If you put one of the captured fish into your trawling net, it will not rot at ALL no matter how long it has been there. You can use this as a storage To Do all 3 at once.

I just played thru in about 3 hours. I really enjoyed it. Definitely worth the $11.

I went off script exploring early in the game, picked up those things at the volcanic area that you need towards the end, and sold them or something. So i didn't finish it. 😢😢😢😢

Shouldn't the ice zone be in the far NORTH? The main setting looks like New England, not Argentina.

One big help in the game is to not buy the big engines. Unlock the jet engine and fill up on those. If you wreck or take damage, only one jet will be disabled, allowing you to escape. If you ha e a large engine, you'll break it in one hit and be dead in the water only able to troll

I'm glad you liked it and I think you understood the point of the intro :) Also, I really like how you called it out as a "terror game", it's a term I've used to describe to people the difference between, say, Amnesia and Resident Evil 4. I think it's much more RE4 style, which yeah, to me is a "terror game". Maybe it'll catch on some day haha. Like metal, I think horror has a lot of genres. Thanks for the vid!

This DLC actually sounds quite cool. I wasn't too keen on Dredge DLC, because of how isolated from the main plot the later regions of the main game are. They feel more like an afterthought to me, especially with the shifting tone. So while I absolutely loved the Marrows and the two southern regions, the ancient fire area and the swamp did very little for me. This looks like a more worthwhile experience.

Had this game in my wishlist for over a year. Didn't have a clue the game was released until just a moment ago, marketing team dropped the ball. Deserves better than an 86 player peak. edit: Didn't realize this was a solo developer, so no marketing team. It's a shame it didn't catch more attention. It could've used 1 or 2 more trailers at some game events, like TGA or one of the June showcases

Yeah its the middle of the night 😂 im actually waiting for this game to download i am an offshore fisherman by trade And construction during offseason but the things they put into this game is really doing it for me. Drag fish in nets to keep them from rotting, hallucinations if youre panicking, you have to repair traps, can you only operate traps diring daylight hours? I guess you could fish at night too if you dont mind jail and fines . its all awesome whoever made this game has been out there for sure it really makes me appreciate it more.

A really good DLC. But it had almost too big of an impact on the map. With it completely changing the vibe of the map with the sludge everywhere.

Sea of Stars would have been sooooo much better if they didn't have any character faces on the dialogue boxes or the FMVs. Whoever did the art needs to go back to school, it disturbed me so much that I couldn't power through the game.

Is there anyway to get rid of the dark splashes after they accumulate on your boat? I know they can be used for crafting and I noticed one fell overboard at some point, but is it possible to just throw ones you don’t need/want overboard or discard them in some other way?
