Great video Just the thing I was looking for to improve my Razorbill piloting skills. I maybe overthinking it but it not clear to me how the mouse movements you are using translate to pitch, roll and yaw if using a HOTAS. Can you help out? (or even better produce a HOTAS video 😄)

can an ennemy player awacs detect your razorbill on the runway, or does he need to scan to be able to see it on the map ?
Yes, in normal gameplay an AWACS will detect a razorbill which has landed using this trick. However there is a mod called Revolution which allows aircraft below 50 meters altitude to remain hidden on the map.

The day I filmed this I had to reload the world 5 times to get a starting layout with 2 1-shield islands relatively close together. Then I started the drop not really knowing the max distance but just so happened to have 3 seconds to spare on the drop so I just assumed 12.77km was the max distance. I practiced this a bit before Tricky's 20th pvp match and even attempted it on one of our island captures but accidentally crashed the petrel on landing. After practicing manual drops for about half an hour I was able to do this consistently. It's very situational but hands-down one of the most awesome feelings if pulled off successfully! It definitely adds some spice to the PvE aspect of this game, pushing the limits of what's possible for one operator under a time constraint. This strategy is one of many I've been working on for speedrunning the game.
