The music cue heard at 10:30 to 10:46 reminds me of The Sooty Show in the early 90s especially in the episode where Sweep was dressed as a fireman was looking for Sooty.

I watch this on Disney Junior in my country back in the day
The way he tweaking so much looks weird
Everyone is talking about Rap Rat himself, but the most eerie thing about this to me is the fake prop-looking wall of cheese in the black void slowly being eaten away, with just some music and a chomp sound, all in vhs quality. Something about it is really unnerving. EDIT: I also hate how the music sometimes does that 2-beat quick loop a few times which sounds like a scratched PS1 disc.
3:42 he’s true.
This is kid friendly! And yes, they made it as a creepypasta!

Not scary
Rap Rat might be the most complex character ever written in media. He’s the hero but he’s also the villain. He’s the boss but he’s also technically a player. He can give but he can also take away. He’s a mentor but also an obstacle. The key to beating the game is to listen to him, but at the same time he’s still the game master you have to beat. You look forward to him appearing but at the same time you also dread it. He’s a friend who can help but he’s also an enemy who can hinder your progress. He’s the one who starts the game but at the same time he’s the doomsday clock racing to end it. He’s a fictional character on the tv screen, but at the same time he’s just as much a player as you and the people around you. People might find him endearing and likable but at the same nobody wants him to win the game because if he wins everyone loses. But it’s strange. He can still choose to help you even if it doesn’t benefit him. Rap Rat is the god of this realm, the one players can turn to for help and guidance. However, he is also the devil, the person who chooses to inflict suffering on others if he chooses to. But he’s not unfair. His game has rules. He could’ve easily made it an unfair gauntlet where he’s the predetermined winner, but he gave the game rules that even he must adhere to. But even then, he doesn’t completely adhere to them because he can just choose to take puzzle pieces away. He’s a player in the game, but he’s also the game master who decides who goes first and decides who ultimately lives and who dies. A mortal judge if you will. He disappears after giving the general spiel, but at the same time he’s still just as present as the people around you. He’s working behind the scenes in the background, again reaffirming that he is the true deity of this cheese dimension. He’s gone, you can’t see him, but his presence is still felt throughout the game. You must do what he says, or else you might lose a turn or a puzzle piece. There’s a twilight zone episode called “it’s a good life”. The plot is about this little boy who has godlike powers and uses it to abuse and control the people around him. I can’t help but see so many similarities to rap rat. A little boy is usually insignificant or powerless in the grand scheme of the adult world. Just like a rat. And yet, both the little boy and rap rat have all the power. They’re both the boss. They both make the rules. The parents of the boy love him and want to have him around, even as going so far as not killing him even when the opportunity presents itself, and yet they fear him. Just like the players playing the game. The players love rap rat, but at the same time they fear him. He can reward but he can also take away. He’s a player but also the clock they’re racing against, just like the boy who is human but also a monster. The players can push the stop button and stop rap rat anytime, but they choose not to even when the opportunity presents itself. The boy sends people he doesn’t like to the corn fields. Those people lose their life, like a player losing their turn. It’s undeniable that the creator of rap rat was no doubt inspired by that famous twilight zone episode. Come my brothers and sisters. Let us rejoice our new savior. I have seen the face of God…and he’s a rat. Rap rat is God. The alpha and omega. The light and darkness. The yin and yang. Praise to Rap Rat! May Rap Rat take the world! MAY RAP RAT TAKE THE WORLD!!!
What the fuck
the fact that i read all of this and it actually makes sense that it might have been inspired by the twilight zone episode and stuff is actually interesting =0]
