    Agree. I was raised in a faith that believed everything was part of God's masterplan. I found it difficult to square this with my life. I tried to conform to what I imagined could be that plan but it did not work out. At all. I would have been better off using the autonomy I truly had. Hope you are finding some comfort and meaning in your present situation. Cheers!

      Thanks. I'm certainly working my way through stuff. Some things seem to have meaning, others don't. The trick (in my view) is to avoid getting too hung up on things that make no sense.

      In my view, it's hard to be kind to ourselves because we’re taught that self-criticism drives success. As a result, we usually spend too much time focused on the negatives. I believe that you really should be your own best friend. But we're often taught that it's a selfish way to think. And I think that's plainly wrong. Remember: self care is always a good investment.     Hey, thank you for your video. Long story short I just got my first job, and it's been a rough 2 months. There's a lot for me to learn and re-learn things since graduate from Uni. I'm still struggling to break free from my negative self-talk. But today, right now, I will seriously practice to have a strong mindset for myself. I will re-visit this video daily juts to remind myself that I am not messing up.

    The problem is that after some days I will forget these things and start blaming and cursing myself for being dumb. Even if I do something good, I will try to find someone who has done better to get behind them or protect myself from being good at something. If I can't find someone, then I will start finding excuses or reasons for it being a fluke. I do all this because I think, I don't deserve or I am not capable of being good at something.
