This cap won't work for chimneys with more than one flue
I've from Ireland but I've been there many times as my sister and brother in law have a cabin there for the last 35 years, I've played the 9 hole course many times too, really friendly and beautiful place always enjoy visiting there, magical
I fell in love with this place after seeing it in a movie. Thank you for showing more of it!
gello
I bought the same exact one and was wondering how to install it since it didn't come with any instructions. I just need get a big ladder to climb up there. Thanks.
P r o m o S M 😱
Thanks!
You’re awesome sir! Even a lady can do this lol! I appreciate you sharing and showing!
Nice deck in the back 😉
Bye bye to the rental industry in L.A.
People say "get a job" like it's going to solve all problems. That's a flippant, elitest, ignorant response. If a person cant get rental assistance, and are behind on their rent & can't pay current rent, what new job is going to erase all of that????? I don't know any new jobs that start out paying $25,000 the first paycheck. If you know of any such jobs, please share the information. Otherwise stop with the dumb "get a job" comments. 🙄
Questions I have had income loss Covid Working I am paying 25 of rent effort my landlord called me or mngr why is they are letting me pay rent next month I am in eviction file but am waiting on Covid key to pay the past due They are waiting ion answer from them and I can’t at least pay some rent they won’t take payment Why ? Maybe you can tell me something in regards to this Yes people that don’t pay a penny are making. People who work hard barely making ends meet now cause cut backs at work look bad
What CAN you evict them for??? Anything?
This is why we have a housing shortage, the investor has to make money.
This is only partially accurate - yes a Landlord can apply, but Ryan, you need to specify that the entire program is run through TENANTS. Ipso facto, if a TENANT decides not to fill out their paperwork, the landlord gets NOTHING. No matter what a landlord does, no matter how much is owed, if the tenant does not cooperate, the landlord gets NOTHING.
Thanks for the input. I did say that the tenant has to sign so yes that tenant does have to be involved in the process. But I think we can agree that landlords have a lot better chance of getting a tenant to sign off on the program than actually initiating the process. It is also in the tenants best interest to cooperate as if the landlord can't get the money from this program than the only other choice is to sue the tenant for it and while the tenant can claim covid to not get evicted it does not preclude them from actually owing the rent. Additionally, suing the tenant is not ideal for either party as the tenant will have a judgement on their record and the landlord will likely have a judgment that will only ever get paid if the tenant wins the lottery. The whole system is screwed up on this and I am not a fan of the eviction moratorium at all
Forget asking the tenant to apply! Won't work! Most tenants are brain dead lazy sloths. Only thing that has a chance of working is for the landlord to do 90% of the application work. I had to sue my lazy tenants before I got them to finally cooperate in getting me needed documentation.
So wrong it's been devastating!! For me my wife and child !!!
@@davidlindgren7605 you can't evict them but can you sue them for past rent due ? This is all so ridiculous punish the people who work hard to own somthing and pay taxes on it ! City needs to stop encouraging people to not work !!!!
@@Lion-dq9uj You absolutely can sue them for past due rent. Do it!
I just got a quote of $1,500 to have one of these installed! Thank you for sharing.
That is crazy. So glad I could help
Dude, it’s even worse than you presented it. There are actually 3 phases; the third phase runs into June 2023! Beyond this, you are not allowed to pursue a small claims judgement for an additional 12 months after the expiration of the moratorium. That means the earliest you will theoretically have a shot at recouping your money is June 2024! Beyond this, and this is where it gets really insidious: I’ve spoken with all 5 board members, the Dcba, hud, my congressman and district reps… none of them have a plan re: rental assistance beyond the current 18 months that tenants are allotted. That means if your case goes into phase 3, there is no way for you to get assistance for at least 6 months of what you are owed. And get this: the program is currently out of money. I’ve called and confirmed this with a program director at housing is key. The situation is utterly fucked.
I have heard that certain areas are running out of funds and they will likely be replenished. I thank you on behalf of all LA landlords for you calling all your representatives and I encourage everyone to do the same. The fact that the board of supervisors extended this is ridiculous in my opinion.
@@thepringleteam1093 you should call too - I’ve spoken with my supervisors office (she’s the only one who voted against the motion) and they told me the best way to get the word out is to call and demand answers from the other four. It’s literally the least we can do (and ironically, the most we can do) at this moment in time. Incredibly frustrating and just an utter power grab. They are playing with peoples lives and livelihoods, taking without even asking and claiming this is all one big shared sacrifice. Tell me: how is my tenant, who is essentially being gifted 50k while I’m stuck paying for everything a shared sacrifice?
Your video made me so homesick for this place!! I could almost smell the pine trees. Many years ago, I bought some property there and that is where I got to know my dad, whom I never really knew before. We had so many memorable times up there, and he particularly loved the Lilac Festival, and even the burgers at Big John's on the way up from town. But although I truly loved PMC, I also thought the Home Owner's Association was a little too strict, which is why I eventually bought unrestricted land in the Catskills, in New York. But I'll never forget the wonderful times I had there, or what I called "a little piece of heaven," only a few hours from the hectic life of Los Angeles. Thanks for the trip back.
Glad you got to take a little trip back down memory lane. I love it up there too. The Wine in the Pines wine festival is a favorite of mine as is the Run to Pines Classic Car show over the summer.
Our Vacation Home is just right there! 💕💕💕
Don't you love it there Myrna? I had a place there for 20 years. I have a new listing coming up there soon right by the equestrian center if you have any friends or family that are interested in mountain getaway too
But this type doesn't protect the top of the chimney from weather and rain will drip off the cap onto the concrete
I live in Southern California so the amount of water running off and landing on the concrete is pretty minimal. They do make a version with a larger cap that would cover the whole top though for rainier areas
The down vote is from some dude who charges $500 to do this. Thanks Ryan, great vid 😊
Thank you for watching. That's why I posted it. Was tired of seeing clients get bids for 350-1250 to install one of these.
Looks great. An awesome fixer-upper!
Ryan, the feedback from you is Great! Thank you
