One Thirty R's work explores the relationship between distortion and summer of love ethics. With influences as diverse as Daft Punk and Daft Punk, new tensions are crafted from both traditional and modern structures. What starts out as contemplation soon becomes finessed into a carnival of power, leaving only a sense of dread and the inevitability of a new synthesis.

Could this power a guitar pedal (something using 2 9v batteries)?
Ethereal and intriguing. Love the experimental vibe. Long time no see btw!
Thanks mate! Yeah I realised it's been a long time when I was uploading this! It's been a pretty big year. I've relocated and don't have a space set up to just easily play at the moment so that's made it a little difficult to get motivated with music.
Love it. Alien orbs 👽
Thanks. Yes! I should print some eggs!

Sorry I missed these earlier! Thanks this is great! 😃
I would LOVE to pair both. Currently looking for the bass unit. I ran my V1 through a dozen pedals just for fun, using the iconic pattern from "Revolution 909." The video is available on my channel if you'd like to see more of the experiment.
Yes! It's a great combo, keep trying to get the bass station. It's well worth it! Awesome stuff mate. I'll take a look
@@ElkElektronik just spent all my leisure money on MIJ pedals from the 80s, the Bass Station hunt will restart in just a bit 😁
Hey man , thanks for the video. I just bought digitakt and i'm amazed how deep and good it is. Wanted to ask , do you know if its possible to use digitakts parameter locks or automation for exapmle controlling craves filter or some other parameters like envelope or noise? That would be fantastic if i could save those settings and use it to make tunes. I couldnt find anything on the web about it , but i'm kind of hoping that its possible 🙏🏼🙄😇🤠
Hey! Thanks for having a listen. I'm not 100% on this since I'm not sure I did it with Crave. I don't have Crave anymore so I'm sorry I can't test it. Digitakt is definitely capable of this. The best way I find to do this with other synths is to use MIDI in and out of the synth and Digitakt and then hit record while manipulating the parameters on the synth. This way the direct CC control for your particular synth and parameter is recorded.
Yes you can do this, But you can only do it for one parameter, You would patch Assign Out to any parameter in.
Nice setup!
Thanks for taking a listen 🙏
Is it a combo of sounds or just the Argon8 playing ?. I have one myself but I've not used it much , i've not had it that long....
Mostly the Argon 8 on its own, with some pads sitting underneath from the virus, I think I bring the virus patches up a couple of times but mostly it's just the Modal
Ahh I thought it might have been. It's very inspiring. I also have a Summit so I'll copy cat one day and see how I get on. Thank you ! : )
@@jaderingtonAh summit is also really nice. That would be a nice pairing! I love sharing a bit of texture from a couple of synths. Get into it 🙌🏻
Yes, well if I can sound anything like your efforts it will be rewarding. I rely on my DAW too much to freestyle unfortunately.
@@jaderington 🙏 however you do it, just enjoy your music making
That’s why I can’t find one- you’ve got them all.
Haha, 2 were client keyboards, but I've currently got one for sale if you're looking for one
I want to do something like this for myself, I am a software developer but I don't understand hardware at all, so I have been researching for a while and I saw your video. What did you use as a pressure sensor for this device? And what type of material did you use for the top cover (black part)? And is this an Arduino processor?
Yeah absolutely! I used some piezo sensors and an Arduino in this project. The top plate here is just MDF compressed timber. All the best with your project. Please let us know what you come up with. We'd love to see it 🙌🏻
Thanks for this but the yellow light does only switch between one and two, I can’t go to page three! Do you know why?
I'm not sure what might be the problem here. Are you sure you went into menu number 8 while holding down the other 2 buttons?
Yes I was doing this … in the meantime it works( why? Don’t know) I put the laptop to the crave and was at Behringers web side …. So actually playing!!!! Yes funny little instrument! @@ElkElektronik
Thanks for the refresher. Couple of points. The special config settings all reset to defaults on power cycle. Also, the Tune pitch control input jack disables the knob when patched. If I remember correctly, the knob is also disabled when playing back a sequence.
Good points. Thanks for taking a look and reminding us about these extra things
There will be config persistence across power cycles in the next update, it's been requested a couple of times.
@@nyppyThat's good news! Will there be a global command to reset to defaults?
@@pugix Yup, this will be in the same update.
Sounds sick Ed reminds me i need to connect the Gliss drive again 🔥
Thanks mate. Yes!!!! Get back into it 🙌🏻
Nice experimental jam with some cool upbeat vibes.

haha yep, something like that!
The Audio is quite Loud compared to your voice, but great video!

I need stickers. Hook a brother up! Also, they did a good job jamming all those IO on top of each voice, nice and compact
Yeah man!! I can hook you up. Drop in the shop and pick up your t-shirt! Yeah super compact. So much in a compact footprint 🙌🏻👣
So dope! Wish I had one! Meanwhile I enjoy my King Drone😅
Is that the Electeo Faustus one? Very cool!
Getting some cool distorted tones out of that Ed, nice one mate
Thanks mate, yeah these a whole lot of different ways to get this thing to distort haha
can we calibrate the env time even shorter? Great vid mate!
Not in software, you'd have to replace capacitors on the PCB as the envelopes are analog.
Good question. Nice answer @nyppy. I kind of would like to see how it goes a bit snappier, but nice range on here nonetheless
This is the video I’ve been waiting for ❤
Glad you found it helpful!
Great walkthrough, and done with a handicap no less! 😄 Thanks and get well soon!
Thanks mate, keen to get it back to normal 🙂
Boom!! Thanks Ed for the great intro video. Mine just arrived today from you - great service experience and looking forward to sharing my sonic adventures with you as I progress. Also looking forward to more videos from you on the amazing Elmyra! Adam 🙏
Thanks mate. Wishing you many merry sonic adventures! Can't wait to hear more about it 😁
Nice to meet you, best upload~bye, 💪
Thanks for taking a look
Very interesting sounding experience. Do you use an external effect on this demo ?
Thanks for listening. No external effects on this. Plenty of nice options built in!
I really like that bouncy arpegiator style.
Thanks for having a listen! I haven't listened back to this in a while. Hmmmm yeah those bouncy vibes are kind of cool. Might need to work with some ideas like that some more.
❤
Why did you panned the crave to the left? You should check your settings on the Digitakt.
Not sure mate. I'd say I probably didn't notice while I was playing it at the time.
Whouah! Great video….I’ll try myself in Sonic Pi but why not with Super Collider?😅
Thanks for checking it out. Oooh that could be fun to try Super Collider! I hadn't thought of that!
I tried for SuperCollider with ChatGPT and it works too and with Foxdot also!😊
Which pedal are you using?
I'm using a NUX Atlantic Delay + Reverb here 🙌🏻
Wonder if it knows supercollider, MAX, Chuck as well as SonicPi ?
I'm sure it would have a good go. I spent some time trying to make a video with Pure Data. While it was able to generate some code, it didn't result in a meaningful patch output. After a lot of trying to train chatGPT to build a meaningful patch, I had some success but in the end it was still making the same mistakes
👍
Thanks for having a listen
Great product. Please reshoot the video so that the LED colours are as described. Also themanual is admirable concise but why white text in black unless youhave shares in toner manufacturer? Hey I ordered one anyway so well done guys.
Hey! Thanks for your feedback, glad to hear you like the product and special thanks for purchasing one. I hope it's a useful tool for your setup! I've reviewed the video and you raise a good point about the coloured light being difficult to identify in some cases in the video. Ah yes, also a good point regarding the manual. We hadn't thought of that and had hoped it would be a good online resource. Thanks again, Ed
Nice work guys !! 👍✨
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻
I asked him for Around The World and it was somehow decent. I asked same from Bard and 😂🤣😅

This is special sound. Amazing.
Yes, Medard did a beautiful job with this one!
What wires do you use to connect to banana?
We've just used Dupont wires and connectors but any wire should work if it has bare ends that can fit into the Wired Heart connectors and be pushed into the fruit.
I have had a love / hate relationship with my Argon 8M. The USB port died two weeks ago ( luckily I was updated to 3.2 FW) but it's actually a blessing in disguise as I'm spending far more time with it whilst creating patches on the front panel. MIDI Monitor on the OLED screen is fantastic.
Oh no! That's no good that the USB has failed! I tend not to use the PC interfaces for synths because I like to stay disconnected from my computer when playing, so a nice user interface is really important to me. I hope you enjoy spending more time getting into the hardware control of Argon 8!
How come are you grabbing an output from the headphone out rather than the VCA out?
No particular reason, I'd say that's just how it worked out on the day
🔥
🙌
I love it!! 🤩🤩
Thanks for taking a look. I'm loving some of the sounds on your channel!!!!
Heh, I'm sitting here soldering (wearing an Elk Elektronik t-shirt by the way) and the rain is dripping on my rooftop window, and this is just the perfect rainy summer vibe right now. Reminds me of some Nujabes tracks. Very well done. :)
Ah, thanks for repping the Elk t-shirt! Sounds like a relaxing day over there mate. Thanks for checking it out. Loving the EMLYRA 2 as well!
Can those sequences can be synced externally via cv with something like a dfam?
Hey! Sorry it's a bit hard to see, but on the left hand side is the Sync button which allows setting a tap tempo, and also an attached CV input for Sync which can be used to synchronise with other instruments.
beautiful drone. nice
