Hi Rosie, Type in ‘POGP Pelvic Girdle Pain’’ on Google and it should bring up physiotherapy specifically targeted at women who are expecting with exercises for management of this condition. The advice about the correct way to get in/out of bed, small things like that really helped me. Have you considered heat pads and taking a soak in the bath (when you get the chance!!) I hope these suggestions help you and make sure to seek advice from GP or Midwife before commencing any physio or using heat, I double-checked with mine at the time 💛

You are definitely not alone in the parent vs. 2 year old battle - you are doing amazing considering you are undertaking nothing short of a miracle growing a baby so do be kind to yourself - it’s lovely that your partner is so supportive. Also - when you got back in the car AFTER your facial and massage you looked VISIBLY like a new woman. I think it did you the world of good feeling those feel-good hormones; glad little man enjoyed it ^_^ P.S: dinner and rubbish telly to wind down the evening is the highlight of at least 90% of toddler parents out there - if it’s boring, I’m with you 💛

Do you think it may be Hypermesis Gravidarum? Having any kind of morning sickness is yuck, but I've heard HG is debilitating. I 100% feel you on the fact that not having symptoms is worse than having bad symptoms. Having gone throughout 2 miscarriages, the symptoms would be comforting for me.

Why would they put you somewhere to labor that you couldn't also have the baby? I would have been uncooperative as well if I had to move mid labor.

How long is your cycle usually, I tested at 10 dpo yesterday and was negative which was a bummer after seeing everyone getting positives early as 8 dpo I’m 11 dpo now and I’m extremely tired I’ve been cramping on and off for the past week or so no bleeding or anything though nausea with occasional vomiting, gassy, and tender breasts… I am very confused at this moment

Hi Rosie wanted to offer an opposing perspective, 100% respect what works for one family is their holy grail 🙏🏻 For our family and 2 year old son we are far better off with me easing myself out of the house; apologies if this is an obvious suggestion but we time it so that he is having a bath; I can get my things together and lunch ready without him clinging onto me as he recognises these as me getting ready to leave, and having asked my partner how he is afterwards he has reported back that he is absolutely fine, toddles about doing his thing before cuddles for bed etc… hope this helps, do what is best for you 🌟

Buying and selling at the same time is the most stressful thing I’ve ever done, and we didn’t even have kids then! I always said I’d never do it again but here I am looking for a bigger house 😂 But too scared to take the plunge and do it. We are in the south west too (well, kind of south central/south west, we’re in Poole/bournemouth). Hope it all goes well for you lovely, and hopefully not long now 🙏🏻 xx

Hey. I’ve been in the same situation of feeling awful when I’m going to work (or anywhere really) and my son is upset. I tried sneaking out but it didn’t feel right and sometimes made it worse. My son is 3.5 years’ old now and loves his routine so any change from that leads to tears. It does get easier though and it’s now become a game to say bye to me/shut the door on me/wave goodbye etc. Keep going, you’re doing great!! 💕
