Did you add rear hydraulic couplers to your tractor. My L3301 has none.
My se came with them as a deluxe package
I think you would get better beds and it would be easier on your implement, if you either disked or tilled the area you are going to make rows. Unless you are going to plant the entire field at the same time, just till and bed the area you are going to use now. I do not see any reason your implement should not work just fine. Good job.
You said you were an engineer ???
I'll bet when it's fully extended, it rocks the tractor pretty good.
Where did you get the extended top link for your quick?
Good tips, I’ll check out your channel. Thanks
is it working ?
This issue i found with the HF quick hitch is its not category 1 compliant due to the undersize lift pins. It's really a category 0 hitch unless you modify the lift pins.
I cant find anyone down here that has one to see it in action so may build me a similar toothbar for the CK2610. Looks well made for sure.
Good info highlighting all the important points and methods. I would also chock the wheels for added safety. Also, I'm willing to bet that your trailer weighs a lot more than 800-1,000 lbs.
Have a 6 month old CK3520 and just ordered a new box blade. Also have Pat's instead of the quick hitch so got SPH320033 Hydraulic Top Link Cat. 1-1 with Locking Block 20 7/8” - 31 7/8” which is a couple of inches longer with 11 inches of travel. Amazon had it for $204 with the hydraulic hoses. I think the Pat's adds about 3 inches, and this saves me from getting a new manual top link. Really like your channel, and am now a subscriber. Thank you for posting, and have to love these Kioti tractors.
You just have to return your u-bolts and have the tool plate in the front of you pulling tube. In this way, no stress on u-bolts
Where can I buy this please
Don't buy your U-boats from Tractor Supply they are kind of on the weak side
I know others may have covered this but, when changing the hydro filters, take the cap off the hydro fill neck and put a shop vac over it {turned on} of course. It will create enough suction to hold the hydro fluid from leaking out while you change the filters but not enough to suck it out the fill neck. Will save a little money and not create so much of a mess. You can do this also while removing the oil plugs and it will hold enough vacuum to get the drain plugs out without the mess.
Nothing wrong with being able to adapt and overcome😊
Ideal is 10 to 15% of the load on the tongue. How do you figure out the center of gravity for your tractor with implements? Excess rear weight will cause trailer sway and pull you off the road.
At a weight station with or without a hitch weight gauge. Me personally, I just make sure the back of the truck squats a little and I know I have enough tongue weight for a short trip.
I am getting an error subscribing
6-7 minutes with the backhoe. 3-4 hours with a chainsaw and shovel. Great video. I get my tractor with backhoe tomorrow. Can't wait.
Where did you get your parts supplies.
Parts list is in the description
What size tractor was you using?
Kioti CK3510se. 35 hp tractor has no issues using it.
On two row tractors your row spacing is from center of tire to center of drawbar . Your sweeps are back of disc and not digging in ground . They are used to clean the alley . You need more weight . This also work one row tractors .
Did your lift arm ends fit in bottom easily,,mine wont go in because opening in bottom is only 1 inch,,top link fits but bottom is wrong,,i have noticed some other quick hitches have 1 1/4 lower openings
I had zero issues with mine.
has those adjustable mounts on the 3 point adapter ever moved side to side while pushing snow? also what's the advantage of the chain lift arm? couldn't a guy just attach chain to a clevis through the top link pin? nice video.
Those mounts do move side to side. I'm going to weld nuts on and use bolts to keep them from sliding. That bracket came with the plow so I just used it.
thanks for info. I'm about to do very similar build as this using same adapter plate. @@meadsoutdooradventures
Yea, I think you'll need to plow the ground first before trying to hill it up. That way the soil is already loose and broke. I like the idea you had and I to have been wanting to make my own style implement. After all, if you have the know how and the equipment, might as well try.
Ur dirt way to hard
Don’t use them after ur dirt gets packed and they work just fine and go in both directions on the same row
HI Don't know if you will see this now that it is over a year. I saw in the video that the tines were not low enough to go in the ground. Just adjust your set up so they can go in the ground at least 5". Your disc seem to be going lower than your cultivator shares do. Hope this helps Greg B.
I think it was because the ground was too hard. Last year I tilled the ground right before hilling it, and it worked much better
I finally tried the bedder I built and worked good. I did not use the ubolts but used a pipe with 2 set screws to hold my disc.
I made a 2 section bedder that is attached to my 6 foot rototiller that does 2 beds in the same pass while rototilling. Much more efficient.
Great video. I plan on getting a CK 3520se hst at some point and find your videos will be of a big help to me ! Thanks
A HST is ok for light work like simply mowing grass or lots of back and forth in a yard. Go with a shuttle shift if you need to do real power work. We learned the hard way.
Once it is tilled, you can experiment with the tractor speed when making your hills. Slower speeds will result in your hill height being low and going faster will result in a higher hill. As least in my case because my bedder is heavier and it just naturally pulls more dirt. Plus you can also adjust your height with the 3 point hitch. I've been gardening since the late 90s. I've made just about all my gardening implements. I have the bedder-hiller, single shank subsoiler, a 6 shank cultivator ( for weeds) and I have an attachment for my weed eater and it's a little 9 inch cultivator. I like to work smarter and not harder. So, do I still pull weeds by hand, you ask, around the plants I do. I have also planted a row and skipped a row and just tilled between the rows. Happy gardening to you!!! Remember, trial and error.
Not to sound negative, you would have better results if it was tilled first and then make your rows. I made my own bedder as well and made it with 4 inch channel (heavier) so that it pulls more dirt.
This year I did tilled first, and your right it was better. Thank you for your constructive criticism.
Price?
You should watch A few videos before you tow!!!!! Most states require one binder on the loader and one on the implement also.
I been wanting to place an order on one from EA but for about $200 I can build one that looks like $900. I have 8 feet of 2x2 tube, 6 welding machines, 5 plasma cutters and a Fridge full of cold ones. I think if I build one it would have the 3 point style hitch vs the receiver tube style. I will probably build a different bracket out of scrap to hold the disc shafts in place to avoid ordering ubolts. Cool build once again, let me see the Hardware upgrade video now.
Looks good I need to build something to store my Phd
Super helpful video! Mine arrived today. Hopefully I dont have to pry my mount like you did! Wish me luck!
Your family should not be that close during cutting. That flail mower, like a bush hog, can throw rocks, etc. a long way!!
How did you get this attachment for $2100?
No videos for months, never did get to see your garden planted. Pity, you had the makings of a great channel. Hope all is well for you.
I bought a 65 inch tittan. Mulched some 2 inch limbs it destroyed itself in 15 minutes. Tittan warranty department has a 82 percent bad reviews. Dont wast your money
Great video, thanks for posting all the links for the small parts. I had no idea that the cat 3 to 2 to 1 bushings were even a thing. You saved me a LOT of time. Thanks!
I second that thanks! Good info.
Got my 3520 last week. Spent 12 hours getting to know the bucket, backhoe, forklift, and grapple. Fantastic machine and very happy so far. Thank you for showing the 50 hour maintenance, and just bought a case of premium grease and new grease gun for all the fittings. Nice job and explanations. Thank you and best of luck with yours!
First thing I’d do is cut that daum pto shaft cover off.
I just milled out a 1/4 in and added 1/4 inch flat strap to back side, repainted, can't even tell I modified it.
One thing to take care to double check when you are swapping out those hydraulic filters so quick is that the seal from the original one comes off with it. Otherwise you end up doubling it up with the new filter and you don't get a proper seal (even though it snugs up nice and tight) and when you go to start up you end up dumping hydraulic fluid everywhere. ;)
Should I ask how do you know? 😂 Thanks for the tip.
Ser produtor é muito sacrificante, mas é prazeroso, o resultado vem logo em seguida, estou me preparando para a vida no campo, comprei um moto cultivador para ajudar no manejo... where did you get the frame attached to box at 5:00?
I agree that you should probably raise the disks up a bit. It also easier to bed right behind a disk harrow. Cut a piece of ground & then bed as a test.
