Jedi aren't supposed to kill. Mace lost his cool then instantly regretted it. You can see the shock on his face afterward. While the movie doesn't go into Mace's thoughts, the script and book do. Mace has unconsciously bought into Jango's reputation and was genuinely afraid when "the most dangerous man in the galaxy" was singleing him out. In order to suppress his fear, he focused entirely on his lightsaber technique...the trouble is that he focused a little too hard. Rather than stop at disarming his foe, he delivered one additional blow...the killing blow. As Jango fell to the ground, Mace realized that he had murdered a man out of fear. While the act was certainly an act of self defense, Mace didn't see it that way. He had broken his own rules and in doing so, set an example that other Jedi followed, becoming soldiers. In the books, Mace would continue to have nightmares of Jango Fett stalking him, then dying gruesomely. It was pretty dark. And all of that is conveyed in a single look from Samuel L Jackson

It's funny that both Jango and Boba were done in by their jetpack being damaged/malfunctioning at the worst possible time. Of course Boba ultimately survived his incident. His dad...not so much.

Really like this portrayal of inquisitors. Not really force sensitive just have a lightsaber and a dream. No real chance against an actual Jedi Knight but instead built to hunt down padawans which where the majority of the surviving Jedi. If they die that just lets Vader know where to look. Makes sense too since any of the actual strong Jedi died because of order 66. Strong Jedi would have been in the front lines surrounded by clones meanwhile apprentices would be in a much safer area and those that weren’t at least had a Jedi master to protect them. Which means that the inquisitors would have no trouble facing them but like if they encounter like an Ahsoka or Kenobi they are cooked no shot.

A lot of people complain about the inquisitors being weak, but I feel that is an important part of their character. Inquisitors were all once jedi, and were those weak enough to be coerced or manipulated. Most were padawans or on the weaker side. Then, when becoming inquisitors, they are taught to put all their focus in their anger, dulling the senses they had as focused jedi in trade for power, which in turn makes them vulnerable. Also, it wasnt like Vader was handing out good thoughtful training, it was more akin to a torture session.

Something that still bugs me to this day is the fact that grevious has Anakin's saber, a green Obiwan's saber, and Obiwan's TPM saber. Small detail but it's hard to ignore once you see it.

I don’t remember if Grievous knew of Order-66 or not. But was that like about “Armed or not you must realize you are doomed” was a reference to the clones that Obi-Wan didn’t even realize. It’s crazy foreshadowing if so cause he’s literally caught inbetween his clones the Seperatists just like the Jedi would’ve been post Order-66 while Palpatine tried to destroy the remaining seperatists.
