Pyrolysis and Catalytic Conversion of Plastics
This animation demonstrates Pyrolysis and Catalytic Conversion of Plastics -process that was created as a part of Plast2Recycle -project.
Pyrolysis is one of the most promising chemical recycling technologies, which has the capability to handle also more challenging waste plastic streams. In pyrolysis, the degradation of organic materials takes place under the effect of heat and in the absence of oxygen.
This video has been produced as part of activities of Integrated pilot platforms for plastic recycling - Plast2Recycle European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) funded project (2019-2022).

Mechanical Recycling of Plastics - VAREX
มุมมอง 3.4K2 ปีที่แล้ว
This animation demonstrates the VAREX (Value Retention Extrusion) -process that was created as a part of Plast2Recycle -project. VAREX is a novel method to enhance thermomechanical recycling of plastics (and polymeric textiles). The name VAREX comes from Value Retention Extrusion. Better quality increases value and utilization rate of recycled plastics. With help of VAREX method, plastic produc...

I hope not more black marketing of sand from Punjab is the cost for this environmental initiative

should show the actual machine at the end to show it in action irl.
Is it cost effective?
Thanks!! As a student and a researcher of this we can now know the anatomy, risks, and procedures of the reactor
😮😮😮😮best
English version please? I'm not sure what language this is. I love your videos by the way I'm just starting to learn about plastic pyrolysis and am very interested. Eventually I would like to set up a business where this is my purpose, I hope to make the process more efficient so I can make money rather than lose it and to remove as much plastic from the planet as I possibly can!
what is the name of program you used?
Limewire 😂

I would like to know if it would be possible to have everything recirculate into the system to feed itself. It seems like all the systems I see have outputs of combustible gasses, combustible liquids, char of some kind, and pollutants, but I would love to see the whole system be a closed as possible where the combustibles are burned to generate the heat for some of the steps and the exhaust from all the steps get used in either the drying of the feed stock or go through a char filter. Ultimately the output would be a horrible toxic paste but it would have been greatly reduced in volume and broken down as much as possible into simple molecules, therefore could be chemically treated to refine it. I understand wanting to sell byproducts of a pyrolysis system but if the system is open at both input and output, I fail to see how that's better for the planet. I would think that the ideal is to have a net minimal input and a result of waste reduction and transformation. What's the point of outputting elements and importing similar elements from different sources, it's like shipping laundry detergent that is 80% water just so it can be used by a washing machine combined with even more water, just ship the concentrated stuff and get rid of all the complexity of needing to move water around.
The government should give subsidies on machines and after product Because this system creates a circular economy and also improves waste management And obviously ' oil is better than micro plastic '
The problem is it takes more energy than it produces, so your running on a deficit. AKA losing money AKA you have to charge people to get rid of their plastic
😂 Government is never the solution. People are the remedy
@@RiggyRonnie 91% yeild from 100gm of plastic using with catalyst
Sir ur vedio is superb but how can we see process pls remove wording on vedio Or put down underv vedio

Not sure if I can trust a "project" with an empty web site saying that it hasn't paid the invoices 🤔
Thanks a lot
So you need a lot of fuel to produce small amount of fuel....... If this is profitable it has been done by large companies long ago..........

some where wood is cheap and oil is expansive . so it's ok but it hard to do in large size because polution.
Don't go "durr no profits" monkey brain us now. Oil is still better than microplastics in your food
