Catch & Cook River TROUT! Delicious!
Welcome!! In this video we went fishing at Stanislaus  River in California, while camping at Big trees. Had a wonderful time, and a wonderful day of fishing and trout eating. This was my first time doing a catch and cook so I would really appreciate any advice whether for fishing, cooking, or even the video editing. Thank you & hope you enjoy the video!!!

Was there a crazy amount of large spiders? Never been to this campsite but some reviews say there is a lot of spiders large in size throughout the campsites especially at night?
Hey sorry for the pretty late response! When we went we didn’t notice any spiders that I can remember. If you end up going (if you haven’t yet) I hope you have a great time!

Are the trout biting in the lake?
Yeah, We were out there for a few hours and caught 2 decent rainbow trout. We caught them along the buoy ropes by the dam. I'm not sure how it is at the moment, we were there over 3 weeks ago.

Heritage? The one my dad had when I was a kid you needed to twist the barrel as far left as the wobble would allow and then aim a foot high and left at 10yds and it was consistent 😂
Yeah It’s a heritage, but I’d say this one’s a little more accurate😂😂
