If it took 1.5 years just to pick out the placement of some tiles, how come nobody thought about putting the dining room closer to the kitchen. The dining room is right at the front of the house. I expected there to be a little swing door in there connecting it to the kitchen - but no! That means the catering staff have to go from the kitchen, down the hall, down a few steps THEN into the dining room. Makes no sense. Also, why isn't the "gym" next to the pool? Considering the scale and opulence of the home, that was probably the poorest excuse for a home gym I've ever seen. Still, I'd take that house in a heartbeat.

Ah yes, nothing says “I’ve arrived” like fluted moldings everywhere, suffocating the walls like a gaudy straitjacket. Who needs functional space when your couch can float awkwardly three feet from the wall because the trim takes priority over, you know, actual living? Just stack on more molding until the place looks like Versailles threw up. The subtlety is breathtaking, really. Every room a masterclass in overcompensation, every inch of wall a desperate plea for attention, because what screams “real wealth” more than turning your house into a baroque obstacle course where elegance goes to die?

If you think living in congested Toronto is a better idea than all the power to you. King City is one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the GTA, with some beautiful natural settings. Everything has gone up since the pandemic, and is overpriced. It has become everyone's unfortunate reality.

This place has the most stunning kitchen I’ve seen in any downtown (south of Bloor) condo! There might be larger kitchens in the ultra-lux buildings around Bloor and Yorkville but I doubt they’re as warm and inviting than this one!

For its size and design, this falls short and lacks the expected style. It's certainly not worth the $5 million price tag.
