Wow David. Thanks for capturing some of this wonderful, exuberant, deeply emotional gig. What a night! One of the greatest gigs I have been to and I have been to hundreds. His rendition of Bitter Sweet Symphony was such a glorious finale to this special night. Having attended a friend's funeral this week and having lived through the 97/98 era managing housing for young people, many with serious class A drug problems, the music of The Verve particularly resonates. Urban Hymns was pounding out of their rooms in the hostel I ran. It captured an era and the feelings of so many of us at that time. It is still so relevant now. Thanks again.
