Sailed on Oosterdam around Italy/Greece 2 years ago. Beautiful ship and wonderful food but found the resolutions of on-board problems well short of world-class. If booking this ship, make sure you take paper copies of everything you're expecting or have booked with Holland-America.

Was delighted to see you'd posted this video. I cruised to Kotor last summer, and found it to be one of the best sail in's (and out's) I've ever seen - it was absolutely gorgeous in that Fjord!

This is incredibly helpful, we are booked into deck 8 over Christmas. I'm not loving the lack of privacy but I'm hoping not too many people are going to be walking past!! I was pretty pleased we'd been allocated deck 8 as I have mobility issues and being closer to the 'main' decks is a bonus for me. I guess we will see...!

We loved the Live music on Oosterdam, the band in the Rolling Stone Lounge were just fabulous!

Went about 4 weeks ago. Amazing experiencce. I must have put on a stone. Food was plentyful and good.

Great video Steph and wonderful commentary. You've got a lovely voice. We enjoyed our 18 night Panama Cruise on Oosterdam. The food was great and I loved the entertainment. We're hoping to cruise around Japan with Holland America in 2026. Thanks for the Athens recommendations, we're in Athens for a week in February, it'll be our first time there.

Just back today and had a deck 8 cabin really loved it. Very quiet and easy access to the restaurants ect. It’s more of a decking and P&O should be selling them separately as a lot of people get caught out thinking they are a proper balcony cabin which they are not.

Currently onboard Adriatic suite on Iona, no daily canopes, food delivery in room services occurs a delivery charge and if you have purchased a sail away fare, not select, you have to pay extra for buses to city centre. Also no refreshments on arrival at Southampton port. Not really sure what perks you get bar a lighter wallet.

When is black tie nights or tie night on the Arvia at Christmas time. We arrive on the 14 till the 28 th December cannot find anywhere to ask about this. Please.
