I love doing this to people starting Dark Souls 2, I'll drop them literally everything in the game and then revert my save file. Pretty cool and it keeps the game more active.

He lost health at 2:11 because he removed the mask of the mother, which increases HP i believe, either way, i think he was using the bottomless box glitch that transfers equipment from one character to another or just hacking, but wasn't anything malicious, considering most if not all he gave you were farmable stuff, so he just helped out.
I think you right about the mask, and if he got the items by hacking at least he didn't delete my save
Brought a tear in my eye. But I also think in the same time they just ruined your experience on that playthrough in a sense..
Luckly, this was not my first play through and my player was named platinum run so maybe she just wanted to help.

either he was on ng+ 9 and or he hacked those items in but stil these kind of freidndly multiplayer interactions are what I truly love in souls

Dark souls 3 is a vibe but Elden Ring visuals are something else.
