Fun fact: Did you know that Storm's log is in what is considered upswept brushstroke script. This earie logo always spooked me as a child. It still spooks me, especially if I see it unexpectedly.

I remember when football scoreboard shows used to have Solari style digItal boards on television during the 1960s and 1970s. There'd be these people on the phones talking with press reporters in the press box. This was before the era of graphics on television.

I remember these late night News reports as a kid in the 70's (in So Cal) during the summer time in particular, in Riverside CA. Our news was on ABC 7, NBC 4 , CBS 2, KHJ TV Channel 9 and KTTV Channel 11. Rabbit Ears and Antennas on the Roof. Len Beardsley was a very familiar voice on TV then.

Can someone confirm or deny the rumor that I heard, long ago, regarding the Ski Jumper? Long ago, I heard that the Ski Jumper died from his ski-jump injuries, and that the wife of the Ski Jumper sued ABC for repeatedly showing the Ski Jumper's moment of tragedy.

This episode was good, but the 70's shows were funnier when the panel celebrities were toasted!

Was this the opening from the Saturday, January 15, 1972 premiere of Emergency! on NBC (the pilot movie of that hit NBC medical/action series)?

That theme music was really dinky.I think it might have led to CBS cancelling the show.

From what I gathered, the tones here were ~822 and ~660 Hz.
