Looks pricey and exactly where are all our beautiful historic buildings that give the town its charm? Money would be better spent reducing the ridiculous rates that make it near impossible for businesses to even make a start. Down with it, i say.

Despite being in my 30s, here's an 'old man rant': Looking at pictures from the 1950s and 60s, it would seem this was when Andover was at its best. It was an old market town with a soul in the middle of the countryside. The 1970s developments made sure the soul was ripped out of Andover. Sadly, the future vision of Andover (which will never happen as "we have no money" - despite more housing in the area, meaning more income through taxes) is just as bleak. Bog-standard buildings with no character and charm. Are today's town planners and architect incapable of designing and building timeless beauty that will wow future generations - just like the Victorians did?

Most visions tend to come from sugar lumps, and the last masterplan I remember resulted in failure.. something to do with a bloke named Hitler… the old open air Chantry Centre was ghastly.. it tends to rain a lot for months and it was always a case of finding shelter and buying nothing.. .. in theory it looks nice, but the end result of those dream plans usually turns out to be a cut-rate botch- up..

This evil Council abuses and discriminates against people with disabilities. I am 60 years old with multiple disabilities including 2 brain injuries and these low life's do everything they possibly can to stop me getting a home. They look down on and humiliate people who are in the worst possible situation. They lie deceive and refuse to help people with learning disabilities. They play god with the bidding. Homeless for 6 months, living in a car and level 3 priority. They are bullying me and using my disability to achieve that. What scum bags they are!
