If it's okay, I do have a few questions regarding how wic works. Are you allowed to shop at any market or do they give you a list of specific grocery stores that you have to go to and how does it keep track of what you've spent? For example you mentioned there's a $26 limit for fresh produce. So if you only spend fifteen it'll show that you still have eleven dollars left before the month is up?

When I make tortellini soup I always add lots of spinach in there. Small pieces of broccoli work well as does diced celery or carrots.

Oh my dearest Nicole. My heart aches for you and the kids. But at the same time my heart is hopeful for you all. Sad endings open up the door to fresh hapoiness and healing. What courage and strength you showed by sharing such a vulnerable part of your life. There's no deeper wound than one that comes from a mother. But also there's no wound that can't be healed. As sweet as you are, and as excited as you are, it makes me sad to think of a child bring removed from their home, especially at the holidays. What is going to he exciting and new for you is going to be trauma for the child.

I honestly never knew you could grow a beautiful garden in AZ. We thought about moving to AZ. But with the thought of finding scorpions or snakes. We chickened out. We are extremely close to Disneyland

God's love is unconditional and should be a model for the parent-child relationship. It's too bad, the choices your mother has made. You are right that it is not your fault. We live in a fallen world. I was married to a narcissist for more than twenty years, and I'm sure it was because of the behavior my mother modeled to me, why I ended up with someone like him. I'm sure my mother was on the narcissist spectrum to some degree. Dialectical Behavioral therapy helped me get through it when I was finally able to leave my abusive ex-husband. I can't imagine the pain of having it be your mother though. I'm sorry you've have to go through this - I will keep you and your children in my prayers. Your garden was beautiful, and you deserved so much more.
