What a powerful message, as always! Just getting back from a camping trip myself with family and couldn’t wait to hear the message. Was I surprised to see what book you took camping and then read from! Mike has another book coming out or has come out, I’ll check. Tragically I know a few folks who do spend their retirement days also “ collecting shells and playing pickle ball. The Creator is not part of their lives either. See you soon. Blessings and miss everyone as I travel with my Dutch family for a bit more.

We were friends and neighbors of Merril for 33 years. When our grown daughter started kindergarten, Merril would her watch her after I left for work until the school bus arrived. Both of our children loved Merril as a grandmother. She was such a kind and loving person. We will miss her. Marti and Don Caywood

Hi Dan, Appreciated your message today. Life puts us on a rail sometimes if we let it. Towards the end of your message you referred to the back of the bulletin where it talks about your mission statement and included in that mission it mentions “spiritual formation”. You defined that , but there is something called spiritual formation which by its definition has become pretty popular in Christian circles. It has to do with New Age teaching, incorporating eastern religious meditation, foreign to biblical meditation. Someone not familiar with that could possibly be led to a different understanding of your intent. I don’t mean to nitpick, but thought I would just bring it to your attention.
