@@dramaface yep it was all for fun. Plus vette is built for the highway vs the vic for the drag strip
You know, I always had mixed feelings about the Panther Platform unless it was a Marauder or Special Edition Town Car. That being said, I feel a bit more respect now for the Crown 👑 Vic. Even tho she lost, she wasn't smoked or embarrassed. I never saw a Crown Vic hold it's own like that going toe 2 toe with a Vette. Great match up for a video! Great cars with great build formulas. Much Respect! Just when you thought the Crown Vic was all done & out of steam... she puffed out fire like a dragon and got right the fck back up for another round. This was a classic Ford vs Chevrolet race 🏁 of course the Mighty Corvette wasn't having it, but usually it's Mustangs, Raptors, Probe GT 😂 idk, all I know is I never saw this Match up in Detroit. So are you happy with the Holley? Debating on going with one on my 2JZ also, I know there are maybe better options but I have holleys on everything, figured I would ask. Also did you get the same sensor working? Guessing it's a 36-1 crank trigger?

This is an STS. I have a 2011 I'm trying to 6.0 swap right now. How did you get the motor to fit under the stock hood? Did you have to modify the mounts to make it sit lower?

I'm in a delima rn if I should run 295/45r18 or 305/45r18 on my 03 marauder I just got the welds with 43mm off set med backspace and 295 will for sure work and 305s are supposed too but man that's a gamble I have to have that much meat or I just spin with the 255s on it now
Mines a built 32v .20 over now a 5.0 bottom end can hold up too 1100 650whp now but vortec pro charger kit from adtr long tubes stainless headers full stainless exhaust 2.5" all the way out tremic t56 swap from adtr gotta go bigger on the blower to reach up into the 8 and 900s whp it's a 03 with 78k miles very much a sleeper
And it's lighter going smaller

Badassness! Looks like your build is similar to mine. Would you mind sharing your tune. I want to get mine running by July, i just picked up a dominator and installed Holleys crank trigger i still need to fab a bracket for the sensor though.
what kind of diff is that? Looks big is that out of an F150?

Yes summit stage 2 cam in it, and swap wasnt that bad at all. just making custom motor mounts and trans mounts

Gen 1 CTS-V motor mounts will fit perfectly, no matter if it’s the v6 or v8 model STS
