I was visiting a supplier in Graz, and the hotel I was staying in was near the station so spent an evening watching the trains arrive and depart. A very neat and tidy modern station. I also quite liked the underground Tram station which runs under the railway station

We arrived a bit late for the actual opening ceremony, however we did have a ride on the first scheduled train to Boughton and then watched the trains go by at Brampton Halt. Great to see the railway well supported.

The Fowler Diesel 422001 Charles Wake, has been in the workshops for some fresh paint and some electrical and other mechanical repairs, in preparation for the Santa specials in December. Thank you for taking the time to show others our show on TH-cam.
When my kids were young we took them on a steam train ride from Layerthorpe to Dunnington and back. The train had to halt at every crossings gate while a man opened it for the train to pass through. Shame that Layerthorpe is now under and industrial estate.
