did you had a ticking noise? I have that small noise on my steering i can feel it a little bit and if i press also the front brake and i press on the fork i have that knock sound.
hi where did you get the replacement kits?
@@Dominicfearful In Sg, from Guan Hoe Co Suzuki., Kaki Bukit.
E quindi? È un benzinaio
O-ring was leaking and you replace whole pump?
@@karskimies Yes. Its not a simple O ring on the outside of the pump Its the mechanical seal inside of the pump which requires dismantling the pump, removing the seal with heat and getting the exact seal for it ( if its available ). Its not a simple straightforward job. Someone made a video on it. You can look it up. If you are able to do it, good for you. Replacing the whole pump is a simpler job.
@@-ms7r- Oh yeah, its that springloaded graphite seal, had Honda CRM with leaky one, was not too hard of a job.
Wow ❤🫰🏻🥰
Did you find the solution ?
@@DjAndroidZ Just spray some lubricant to let it move freely. Problem solved.
Is there a right way up when putting the new seals in?
@EVil-ob8in I can't recall exactly. But I think it can go in either way.
So that pin that goes to the clutch can you pull that out and put it back in with out messing anything up?
@griffinsteel8908 Correct. That is called Clutch Push Rod. When putting it back in, just align it with the Push Rod Cap on the cover. You won't go wrong.
cabu cleaner??
Thank You! Just the video one needs when replacing their hoses.
You're welcome. Glad it helps.😊
Compatibility with CBR 600rr 2010 ?!
@gharbaouiayman7834 Hi, I'm not sure for CBR.
how did you remove the steering stem cap?
Stock Stem cap is just a plastic cap, you can remove it using a flat screwdriver.
@@-ms7r-I will try that thanks for your help...
Don't go to far I may need more help on this matter.
Hey dude is normal?
Yes, normal.
That isles a little low for a cold start but good for op temp
Good 👍 video, shame about the music
My god. I had a seizure watching this video
😆
It's the springs in the outer clutch basket's springs got tired a bit and they have freeplay in thier place. Same probléma with many Street bikes
I retorqued the 30 mm Clutch Sleeve nut, changed the plates with springs and the sound is gone. Hopefully it stays that way.
Are you just dipping those rubber seals In break fluid? I'm just having a hard time gettin them back in
Correct. Just brake fluid. No issues fitting them in, for me. Maybe they are not seated properly.
@@-ms7r- just ordered a new seal kit gunna try that.. thanks for the upload
@harley187 Thats possibly the reason. I replaced all the seals with new ones. All the best for your project. 👍

lower screw. It can be rotetable without remoting fuel tunk!
You are welcome. 😊
Gracias
Terbaik bro video🤟. Pon pernah kena kat gixxer 600 k9. But mine engine oil banyak klua waduhh..the seal habis koyak. Btw where u get your spare? kat Guan Hoe ke atau Ever Success?
Thanks bro. Dari Guan Hoe Suzuki.
why do yo have a bird feeder on yur bike lol?
That's a mount for my GoPro.😂😂
Show de bola !!!!😊
ur bike looks verry dirty.....
Thanks 😊
Beli alat ny d mn ya bg??
Dari LAZADA.
I was riding my bike, going about 30mph when my chain popped off and it caused my sprocket cover to crack, do you think if I get a new cover that will be the only issue ? To make it stop dripping oil?
Sorry to hear about the cracked cover. Chains shouldn't be able to pop out. You should adjust it to the correct tension.
Thanks! I needed that. Rebuilding mine now....
All the Best mate!! 😉
Hey man good stuff can you use anything else to clean it out with besides transmission fluid I just don't happen to have any starting fluid OK brake cleaner throttlebody cleaner OK but thank you for sharing!
today i saw water in my oil pan gsxr 750 k9 and i read that maybe the water pump can do that is that possible ?
Possibly. To be sure, check the weep hole behind the pump. Just like I did in the video.
Will you put it on dyno how many horses are there now? Long live to your bike :-)
Have not sent her for Dyno Run. 😀
Thanks for this, having similar issue on my r6. Finally come to think its the water pump letting out oil down the engine casing and oil pan. Not much info on these leaking oil so great video
Its a simple job which doesn't require any special tools. Just replace it with Genuine parts. You won't go wrong. Wish you all the Best!!
Thank you very much. Perfect video just what I needed to see
The Africa twin rider is my idol…
😉
How did you refill the calipers and bleed the lines? My pistons won’t push into the pads onto the rotor. 😮😅
Once everything is installed. I bleed the lines as per normal.
@@-ms7r- really?! There is am eBay front brake lever master cylinder and the matching side for the clutch was defective and have un matching sides. Maybe the culprit is the master cylinder although not had setbacks with it until now. 🫣😅
@@Kyre5049 If your brakes were working normally before the seal change, it should be the same now. Maybe there is something wrong with the installation. Hope you sort it out soon.
@@-ms7r- how about the pistons when replaced in the caliper were placed flush rather than the orientation they were when pulled out about 1/4 of the way out of the caliper having clamped down on the rotor? 🫣😅
@@Kyre5049 That shouldn't be an issue.
Price
My bike wont go forward in gear after puttin the cover back. Anyone else have this issue
Never happened to me. Something must be wrong with the installation.
Ok did I miss something?? When is the sprocket removed ???
This video is about the Sprocket cover removal. I do it after a long ride to clean up the surrounding areas and the sprocket of gunk and road debris. Its not about removing the sprocket. 😉
@@-ms7r- what cleaner do you use to wash that area?
@@gsxrveli Just brake cleaner.
@@-ms7r- Thank you!! and last question, do you actually remove front sprocket to do the cleaning or leave it in while using brake cleaner?
@@gsxrveli No, I didn't remove the sprocket.
where did you get new water pump from? Im from Europe, Slovakia, and can´t find one
I got it from the Suzuki Authorised dealer here in Singapore.
what is that red fluid that is leaking from that pump? Will i be able to drive for few miles with it loosing quite a lot of liquid? I lost about 100 mililitres
That's the engine oil. I'm using Motul 7100, its red in colour. As for losing oil, it's best to replace the water pump before it gets worse.
Thanks for the video. Much simpler than it looks with the clutch and speedo bullshit going on.
Correct. 😉
How tight did you tighten the bolts
Tighten them to 7 ft lbs or 10 Nm according to the Maintenance Manual.
@@-ms7r- thanks
@Rob Bialous 👍
what about stator problem of that model? did u change it?
Yes. The Stator burned at 59,200 km. Replaced it together with the Regulator/Rectifier. Now just passed 84,500 km.
@@-ms7r- Thx for the answer... Wich brand-model did you pick to replace it? i heard the suzuki originals always fail sooner or later.
@@hectorsequi5252 I replaced both the Stator & Regulator with Suzuki Genuine parts.
Wow thank you very much, I'm having the same issues right now as I speak on my K6 750 Gixxer, I can see how kind of simple and straightforward it is, as long as you got the oem replacement piece. Much appreciated ! :)
Yes, its a simple job. Remember to drain the Oil and Coolant first before proceeding with the pump removal. All the Best!!
Am I hearing timing chain noise?
Negative. That's the raw sound of the Gixxer. 😄
Its a Genuine Suzuki Water Pump.
Was that an OEM water pump or an aftermarket?
Its a Genuine Suzuki Water Pump.
How did you clean the tank
Thanks bro, hope it helps. 😀
