Has anyone tried the Gravel Grader by ABI?? It has an adjustable blade that allows for some crown work and can be pulled by a lawn tractor.
I got a DR grader seems to work good for my 1/8 mile drive.
Add a little sodium gluconate to chelate minerals in hard water for a smoother lather/rinse as well as a reduction in soap scum and streaks/spots when used for cleaning. Additionally add up to 5% alcohol as a preservative and additional mild antiseptic. When you dilute the soap, the preservatives are also diluted so if you want to store what you've made more than a couple months add some alcohol. More than 5% will mess notably with the lather and effectivity of the surfactant properties of the soap. Ethanol alcohol is kinder to skin than isopropyl, but its not that much anyways so you probably won't notice either way.
Don’t manipulate your frames so much that’s how you have young queens fly away happened to me a lot check for day old eggs and stop. It looks like the nuc was made from a queen cell bc there was a huge one on your 3rd frame. Was there any day old egg? Bc the second frame looked like an emergency queen cell.
We did see larvae. So it's likely the queen left? We have so much to learn & really appreciate your input. Thank you!
@@jarvismountainoutdoors I would check for day old egg in the frames and that emergency queen cell on first frame.
I know nothing about bees other than they sting but looks good and y'all make it look easy.
Thankfully we haven't been stung yet!
Looks like it’s going well! It’s beautiful to watch. Of course beauty is in the eye of the bee-holder!
Thank you! Love the bee humor!
You have a queen cell on the bottom...
Thank you. We're new to this but thought it might be one...
Welcome to the Wonderful World of Beekeeping.😁 It's going to blow your mind.👍
Thank you! We're really looking forward to this!
Pretty cool!
Professional suggestion: don’t get stung!
That's the plan!
I have concrete driveway between gravel roads by dragging one of these will it hurt it also did you just flip it byyourself or did you use a tractor?
I think it may scratch the concrete but not sure. I flipped it by hand, it's not too bad. About 150 lbs. Thanks for watching.!
Can’t wait to see more!
Thank you! We pick up our bees on the 8th.
How exciting is this! Omgoodness! That is living pure from the things God gave us on this earth! You two are quite the power couple! 🎉
Thank you!
They take a little finessing, a lot of patients, and moving the bucket to get a stump out but it works very well. I've taken several stumps out using the KiotI CK35 tractor and the stump bucket. They also call them a "front hoe". I've used mine to dig shallow trenches or moving big rocks. Great video!
Good video thanks Bud
Thank you, I appreciate you watching! Hope it was helpful.
Woah that's so cool!
Connie will be glad to teach you to can. We have a blancher, quart canner, pint canner and some jars you are welcome to have.
Wow, that would be awesome! Thank you!
@@jarvismountainoutdoorsThey are yours. 😊
I’ve never made it that strong. I’ll give it a try.
Hi John!!! They love it!
I have a stump bucket for my CK35 tractor. Takes me a little longer but It's amazing when removing stumps.
Worth the money for sure!
How does it do on removing weeds from driveways?
I honestly haven't used it for weeds in the driveway so I can't give much of an opinion on that. I've groomed trails in woods but I don't think it will technically remove weeds. Hope this helps.
Initial thoughts?
It's a good quality, heavy drag harrow. It fluffed up what little gravel we have but nothing beats a land plane for gravel. It works really well on the trails. I did a more thorough review video on it that shows alittle more detail. Thanks for watching!
👵 🥚 😂
Gettin after it! 💪🏼 🪵
Wow! 💪🏼🐔🙌🏼🫶🏼
So beautiful! I'd love to come for a visit on that beautiful, peaceful Jarvis mountain sometime.
We'd love that!
@@jarvismountainoutdoors🎉❤ Tell me when!
That is so weird 😊
Way you have it set is in the 'non aggressive ' direction.. flip it 180 on the drag bar for a "aggressive" drag.. it will break up the stones and "fluff" the gravel.
Isnt that how tinctures are made? With alcohol? Only found two videos on youtube that goes over the difference between extracts and tinctures, while every sincle peppermint extract video i watched makes it like one would make a tincture. So, what is the difference between a peppermint extract and a peppermint tincture?
In my research, you are correct. Tinctures are made with alcohol and I've read that extracts are not. I'm finding conflicting information on this topic. Vanilla extract and peppermint extract are both made with alcohol but they are considered extracts... I'm still researching and learning about tinctures and have not experimented with any just yet. Thank you for your question though, I appreciate it!
Do you have an ostrich in there😂 That is a nice size egg! God bless!
😂
Thank you for your recipe, I'll give it a try
Looks beautiful and perfect!
Hi there i have an awesome recipe that you might like to try. very simple 1 cup distilled water 1/4 cup liquid honey 2/3 liquid castile soap unscented blue bottle then add your own essential oils o your choice. 30 drops of lavender, chamomile, or geranium. again your choice of essential oils. 1 teaspoon vitamin E 2 teaspoons of jojoba or switch it out for almond oil grape seed or melted coconut oil. Directions mix ingredients until smooth and if it is a tad runny add teaspoon of xanthan gum but only a little at a time slowly mix it so ithat it doesn't clump if so strain it to get rid o the excess that you don't want and restrain it again to the consistency you like once it is the way you like it pour into a BPA free plastic 8oz bottle. Enjoy.
Thank you for this! I'll give it a try for sure. I've seen recipes with honey but haven't tried any yet. Thanks you for watching and for sharing your recipe!
Can you tell which xanthan gum to purchase and what is it purpose in your recipe please?
@@sylviajohnson373 I know typically in baking it's used as a thickening agent, helps hold things together better. I would imagine in soap it probably helps it have a slightly more gel-like consistency, but that's just my guess based off what I know from cooking with it
@@notyourginger thanks for your reply and much blessings to you and your family
I cut two trees yesterday on the back side of my pond dam. Both were on a steep hillside. I wasn't able to stand up without making a area to stand. The first tree was poplar and about 24" at the base. Cutting from the top side, I cut at about 5' up from the ground however the back side was over 9'. Notched, cut a little and wedges driven in and cut some more. Drive wedges and a final cut it fell exactly where I wanted it. I still dove off in the hollar sliding down the hill several feet. LoL Second tree was about the same except smaller and no wedges. It just went...
the vodka must be 80% proof or you can use a mixture of water and apple cider vinegar
Thank you for the info! I haven't tried water and apple cider vinegar for my extracts. I'll have to try that out!
i know this video is a bit old but if you weld a flatstock no top of that bar...everytime you flip it to smooth the gravel it will digg a litle bit..thats what i did and it works great !
Good idea, thank you for the suggestion!
When I first seen the post, I thought you got 22 meat birds to raise. Good info!
No meat birds yet but it's on the list for next year. I didn't even realize that the title looks like 22 baby chicks! We try to number the videos and this is our 22nd video. Thanks!
The baby chickens 🐔 are so cute!!
The hose should have female quick connect fittings on both sides, and the tap and each accessory should have male fittings. (There should be four types of fittings in total). The reasons for this are four-fold: first, it's easier to pull the collar back if it's on the hose instead of on the tap; second, the male quick connect fittings are cheaper because they are a single component, and since you need one for each accessory that results in a lot of savings; third, having a female quick connect on the accessory end of the hose means you can disconnect an accessory without shutting off the valve because it has an integrated auto-stop (like a compressed air hose); and four, the exposed O-ring on the male fitting is less likely to get damaged if it's on the accessory rather than the hose which gets dragged across the ground. At least, that's how the Gardena quick connect system works. To connect two hoses together you use a double male coupling, or two male fittings screwed together.
The Gardena is plastic..... does it make a difference? I need to replace leaking connections.
@@user-ql9ov7ze8o Gardena also makes compatible solid metal versions. In my experience the plastic type are more than sufficient. I've used them for many years now and find them much better than the cheapo aluminum or plastic connectors, which are difficult to operate and tend to get sticky after a year or two. Although they are quite expensive, the Gardena fittings have always worked flawlessly for me, even after years of use (and if the o-rings ever get damaged, you can get replacement ones quite cheaply), and for that reason I don't regret buying them. The only Gardena piece I've had break is the male accessory connector, which can break if it's attached to something heavy like a nozzle, and then dropped on concrete. It would be sufficient to upgrade just these vulnerable ones to metal, because the metal versions cost about twice as much as the plastic ones.
Wow, that’s a lot of humming birds! Thanks for the information about them.
It’s bambi😮❤
Beautiful juvenile.
any bigfoot in those awesome hills?
We hope not!

Hi duane
Hi! Thank you for watching.
Castile soap is olive oil only! That shea and coconut oils aren’t natural. This is just a concoction.
The brand I use is made of many organic oils without synthetic detergents and has helped my hands tremendously. It's MUCH better than store bought soap with all the unnecessary chemicals and ingredients. Thank you for watching!
Very nice Thanks
