I finally got one. I hope it grows enough so I can propagate.
I've been wanting one of those, just be careful out there, a friend was sold a supposed Delta Force, and it was not one. Do be careful out there. She paid a good sum only to be duped. I let her know places to get the true Delta Force, pleased to say she does have one now. But boy was she mad.

@TuoInside thank you! Yes it grew indoors under the lights. I fed it with some generic orchid fertiliser that I got off the Internet. Those are very hungry plants to they don't care really what feed they are getting as long as they are getting it 🙂

I have two ferns that are still alive, a staghorn fern and a microsorum thailandicum. I love these plants
I have a couple of staghorn ferns....I kinda dont know whether I like them or not... 😂. They are gorgeous but totally new to me and I really don't know what I am doing with them
I like the Anthurium, looks like it stays pretty compact too

My first violacea (var. coerulea 'Tawan Blue') is also in bloom now but it's still very young. Its starting to have some kind of fragrance. It's really nice to finally see it in person for the first time.
It gets better as the plant matures 😊 💚

Beautiful cross! Is the scent something like oranges and jasmine or honey suckle? What would you say it smells like in your opinions??
I would say it's like a mixture of vanilla and honey.... a little bit like honeysuckle 😊

I have one very similar to this & it’s one of my fave phals. So delicate and soft, the mottled leaves are just an extra added bonus. I was so excited to see it in the shop, it’s very special.

How much light do you give it? My leaves arent as dark.. do you know how much foot candle?
They are on the south west facing windowsill. In the summer they get a lot of light. I would say vanda level of light....
I also refuse to call them vanda!
.......wonderful bloom ....I love the Encyclia's......they have such a nice tight growth habit and are always blooming when happy....you have done a great job with her......I really enjoy your channel.....such beautiful orchids and your talks about them are great!
Thank you so much Rick for your kind comment! I love encyclias shiny, plumpy pseudobulbs and of course their flowers. This one has only now started to release the fragrance. Sweet honey with a hint of chocolate 😋🥰
Olá vejo que você tem vandas , com poucas raizes porém com hastes florais , o que faz pra dar hastes florais , com tão pouca raizes?
Only one vanda ( jairak blackjack) has a poorly root system. The other two have actually quite extensive roots buried into the media they grow in. As for blackjack I really don't know how this vanda managed to send such a fat flower spike. She's quite dehydrated. Could be that she's dying to it's her last attempt to reproduce

@@mari.oliveira67if they are in recovery then I would keep them warm, in a bright but not direct light. Water with soft, filtered water ( so it's gentle on the remaining roots) and hold off the fertiliser
Ty for the info. Would Cymbidium bicolor mature it's growth for 2 years as well? (Asking cause it was said to be warm grower when I bought it).
@@SirtsRohutirts I don't have an experience with cymbidium bicolour but from what I have read cymbidium bicolor is native to China and Myanmar, where it grows in forests and grasslands at high altitudes. It thrives in cool, temperate climates and can be found growing in regions with an average annual temperature of 12-18°C. It prefers well-draining, nutrient-rich soil and can tolerate a range of light conditions, from partial shade to full sun. A lot of info on the Internet suggests its a warm growing orchid but I guess you have to look at where it comes from in nature

......just my opinion....but ...names are not that important with phalaenopsis,... if its beautiful its worth having in my collection.....I not only see your beautiful orchid with gorgeous blooms....but beautiful stacked up leaves, and roots like a small tree....a sign of great care......well done.

Thank you Mary! I love aerides but sometimes it's can be a bit fussy. I have houlletiana about 3 years ago and it was indestructible.... well till my pup decided to treat it as a toy.... now he's a bog mature dog and doesn't touch my plants so here is a hope for me that I will see those gorgeous blooms again 😂😂
