It’s weird. I was born in 1981. I’m watching this in 2024. I’m 43 years old. There is a 21 year old out there watching this who was born many years after Kurt died. I am to that 21 year old what my parents were to me in relation to Jim Morrison. When I was 21 I was fascinated by hippies and thought that was so long ago and before my time. It was as long ago for me as this music is to the new generation of 20 year olds. I’ll shut up now.

This is such a fantastic interview. Love listening to Kurt & Pat (when he speaks) Other guys bore me to no end; not funny, indifferently cursing. 'Course, theire great musicians, still are, just never got into their interviews

Kurt Loader was a great interviewer he knew how and what to say to make band's comfortable and happy and that wasn't always easy with Kurt Cobain he was really delicate.

Kurt really seemed to go more downhill right after this time… 😢

Growing up, I never found Kurt Loder to be particularly cringey (that was John Norris), but watching this now, it’s really uncomfortable to hear his fake incessant laughter at every single joke these guys make, and generally trying way to hard to be down. How do you do, fellows Gen Xers? Except I think he’s like 85 now

Ive watched a few interviews now, and ALL of the camera skills in them are GARGAGE! Im not talking about video quality, but the zooming and panning. Im not sure if they zoom in to hide the cigs and beer, or if thats just what people did, because ive seen so many now where they almost macro zoom into kurts face as he talks just like they do here with EACH band member.

Kurt Loder is the GOAT when it comes to interviewing talent. His questions, personality and conversation ability were always on point. You can tell Kurt is happy and comfortable in the interview which is a compliment as well.
