Grim Workshop specializes in the making and using of ultralight, reusable, and wearable everyday carry tools. Perfect for a standalone ultralight survival kit that you can keep on hand at all times or as an addition to an existing survival kit to remove unwanted weight. Our videos focus on the different uses of these tools for hunting, fishing, fire starting, and other survival tasks, as well as traditional survival skills using primitive tools and found objects. Bow making, trapping, and hunting are just a few examples.

How to use the Split Stick Trap on Grim Survival Cards
How to use the Split Stick Trap found on several Grim Survival Cards. This trap takes seconds to set up, and can be passively procuring food for you. This trap is found on the Jordan Jonas Signature Cards, and the Callie Russell Card. I will go over different variations on the trap in upcoming videos. #grimworkshop #grimsurvival #survival #bushcraft #survivaltok #survivalcard #edc #fyp #trap #alone

Never thought to melt hot glue with an open flame like that. 👍
That's awesome man wish I could afford to buy one
Pine resin is natures glue lol
Put the glue on first, then slide it into the handle..
Just use a scalpel blade, ditch the card
Pine resin is my go to glue. Sets hard and you can chip away the excess for a clean look. Cools fast though. I heat mine in a small tin on my fire stove top then pour down the hole while slamming in a heated handle. Cheers good vid 👍
Where can I get one of these
Prison shank lol
Lmfao bruh wtf are you even doing 😂😂 just start a gun channel like a real man. Leave the knife stuff to the felons and sword nerds. You dont even have a ponytail.
YeEeEEEeeeeEeeeEEeEe Second comment!!!!!🎉😂
YeEeEeEeEe FIRST COMMENT!!!!!!!!🎉
Oh man that's incredible. You really seriously bring usefulness to the survival cards. All of the other "survival cards" really don't seem useful at all but every single thing you make is phenomenal for being such a little thing.
@DirtyDirtbath thanks so much! That means a lot to us to hear that! 😁
Man I gotta get me one of those.
Video might be 5 years old but I'm going to try this out this weekend. Thanks for the video
This deck would pair nicely with the Urban Survival and Lock Picking deck since some of the cards are in line with an urban environment such as the fire from a gum wrap with battery, fire from a soda can with chocolate and tinder from clothing just to name a few.
Too bad this is the only playing card video recorded vertically, making the cards are harder too see compared to the other videos. I would have shared the video out, but not in this format. The product link on Grimworkshop will have to do for sharing.
I almost missed this video since the thumbnail said "Navigation and Weather". I am glad I decided to watch all of the playing card videos, they're fun to watch.
I would love to see a video of the Shelter and Camp Life deck. It's the only deck I noticed without a dedicated video.
Got a sub for me. Do you know how to make a bow string w it
While that definitely is a pretty creative idea of using the minnow lure as fake bait on one of the hooks from one of the fishing cards I personally have to wonder how viable of a solution that really is. Have you actually done that and had it work?
Looking at those hook connectors kind of reminded me of a fishing swivel but then that in turn reminding me of something that my uncle once told me. You don't want to use swivels when fishing for Crappie because they don't like to eat what they can plainly see which I have found to be 100% true.
Based on appearances alone the 4 finger hand caster seems like it'd be comparatively more comfortable and stable when landing a somewhat sizeable fish as opposed to the 2 finger hand caster but more likely than not they're both avout the same in those aspects.
You can never go wrong with having plenty of smaller hooks. Especially if you're fishing for panfish. Can't wait to get me one of those.
I like this company and what they design but this kit is garbage, I don't even need to try to say it, needles need to be way smaller and round.
Is the solid tag without any cut outs magnetic? Do you sell any magnetic tags?
@camronmoz2662 no, none of them have magnets, but we do some made from high carbon steel which is magnetic.
I'm curious, could the files on the tweezers potentially be used to sharpen the knife?
@dutchvanderbilt9969 the file has a pretty aggressive tooth, so it would be a pain. The card actually comes with a sharpening card for maintenence though.
I got to ask what sort of bait would you recommend with this sort of trap and also how much weight can those little bits of metal reasonably support?
I'm surprised more people don't know about this little trick with the zip ties.
Hi there! How are the tools stored on the card? Is it via a magnet?
@____DK____ no, it's non magnetic, and non adhesive based, neither of those work as magnets still slide off, and adhesive leaves sticky residue on the card. the tools do go back onto the card though, and bond similarly to the grip of an adhesive but without the sticky residue.
@grimworkshop9830 Noted thank you
I'm curious, are the saw(s) and file(s) meant for anything specific?
@@dutchvanderbilt9969 we just wanted to be able to incorporate something new into the idea of tweezers. The file and saw were something we could use that wouldn't alter the function of the tweezer, but just add extra utility depending on why you carry it.
I would imagine that if you were to make a spear using the spear card you would have to really put some force behind the spear of be able to cause any damage to a larger animal.
Nice addition, the archery line in a spool package!
This couldn't have come at a better time
That is Adam Sandler😱
so you have matches?
2 bad they ain't wind & water proof
That's a lot of string and twine. If I'm going into a survival mode, i'd rather take my real knife, axe and bow rather than a huge roll of string and a credit card.
@@dog3y3 of course you could. But life happens and most often when people end up in these types of situations they don't have a full size axe, knife, and bow. You could have these though, which are small enough to fit into an altoids tin in your pocket or pack, or even in your wallet.
Ya id have a hard time with the game warden if he found me not sure its still legal to use
@@planitmc1204 this is more for an emergency, rather than an weekend hunting. But knowing how is invaluable if you ever need it.
huh seems pretty useful
Hmm, if I didn't just see it, I'd never have believed it. !st comment !! Eff Yeah !! Woo Hoo !!!
I'm sure robbers will love you. Dumb stupid video. YT should take this down.
You know, I rarely come across a lock that I needs to be picked in the middle of the woods on some Mountain. Explain to me why most of this card, this Bushcraft card, is lock picks.
Hell, I'd buy it, but that's only because I like to leave my keys in my vehicle where I know they're safe from bears.
As a burgalar, I am just pleased as punch to hear about this and will definitely be purchasing your product.
Got this card innthe monthly mailer. I am SOOOO glad you explained this. It raised my evaluation of the card several levels!
@@fearanarchy I'm glad it helped!!! 😁
What size wire is recommended

THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for this informative video!!
I have the lock pick card and a fishing card.
I bought one of those cards and they work as advertised! 👍
The Australian Aboriginals called this a Woomera.
