The Bund, Shanghai
Visiting The Bund in Shanghai for the first time. All of the lights at night are mesmerizing. In the daylight, the area is poping with shops and restaurants. The whole vibe of the area is amazing. I would highly recommend.

First and last time visiting The forbidden City
มุมมอง 129หลายเดือนก่อน
Visiting The Forbidden City for the first time. It looks incredible, the scale and history of the architecture! until you get there. So many security checkpoints just to get close, and then to get inside. It is a nice place for admiring the ancient architecture but it's overrun by too many people. Yeah, it's a tourist spot but I barely saw any foreigners, it's just an overcrowded space to reall...

@@celestebishop1262 I appreciate the kind words! I'm glad you enjoy the channel!
if u are interest in Chinese ancient architecture and want to avoid the crowd i advice u to go to Shenyang palace-- the another one of two ancient palace exist in china, and here'also other ancient buildings, not that many that nice if u compare with beijing, but tourists are way less too.BUT DO NOT VISIT IT IN THESE DAYS .October1-7 are national holidays in china AND ALL RESORT WILL BE FILLED BY PEOPLE,FILLED.It's not exaggerate, but a statement.
@@吴佳璠 Thank you for the recommendation, I'll take note of that palace.
As a Chinese I can tell u that people here is not that much compared to holiday, truly.
@@吴佳璠 I appreciate that, I wasn't aware the last week of July and the begining of August was a holiday. My first impression was a shock of how busy it was.
Yes i hate crowd too. Thats why i travel during the pandemic. The only time where there is no crowd.
@@jjian5 That's a great idea! I bet it was amazing during that time!
Cultural landscapes like this are kinda worthless unless one is really interested in cultural history.
I love cultural history, architecture and art. This place is very cool and amazing to see in person because of the scale. It's just hard to really soak it all in when there's so many people and noise happening.
@@ayetoeknee Yes in China attractions are like this, so I choose to avoid holidays when I go out to travel
@@AntiBolla_mumu I see. Unfortunately August is when I was able to have some time off. I would like to go to different parts of China and explore more, but next time definitely not during the summer.
@@ayetoekneedo some research before your next travel to ensure not coming cross any Chinese holidays, And the best season is in May, June and October. (avoid the holidays)
Yeah next time I'd make a trip to China I'll have to make sure it's not a holiday or summer time. I think I've realized with everyone's help that the time I went was a very busy time or holiday (though I couldn't find a holiday for that time). I'd like to make a trip during spring or autumn.
❤❤❤Great❤❤❤
I really liked this place and video😊
Nice! Was that a bookstore or a library?
Library :)
Really nice Ant!❤
This place is so pretty!!! The poor girl needs to eat. Lol😂❤
The cinematic ending was MINT
Thanks skeet!
So cool
❤
Love it!
That's pretty cool
0:34 truedamn that smell when you open a fresh box of tea is so nice 0:55 green tea desserts go so hard after eating. idk what exactly it is with them, but it just kinda feels like a really good palette cleanser 1:20 those are interesting, but I don't know how I feel about the neon green cookies lol. Something about the color/texture combo just looks kinda off to me 2:40 I honestly think that might be why I like green tea-based desserts like mochi and ice cream so much. The earthy flavor is so understated and subtle that it's just a nice addition without ever really overpowering anything 3:35 admittedly I think that looks more appealing than the neon color I mentioned, but still what the foch is that false advertising??? Pretty neat. I'll definitely have to check it out if I'm ever in Korea
Yeah, green tea and matcha are great. Having the cookie a little warm was definitely the call. Don't worry I got one for you.👍
0:17 I love those views you can get of historic architecture/temples and then just a huge city behind it 0:40 that chick rocking the pilgrim hat 🔥 1:37 Mrs. Farnett coming in with the Pocari Sweat :ohplease: 1:45 the mesh polo for when you've got a round of golf at the links in the afternoon, but a rave at the club in the evening 5:33 another person looking sick with the pilgrim hat 🔥 5:42 and another right around the corner??? 🔥 9:19 that's a nice view. If the water was clear it would be an easy 10/10 11:45 throw a salute up for ya boi 12:55 Seeing a Rush fan in a Korean palace is pretty cool lol
1:40 say what you want about sunny days, but I actually like it better when it's overcast because you can just rest your eyes more and don't have to be squinting all the time, plus it makes everything look more vibrant IMO 2:55 tying the prayers to the paper lanterns overhead like that is pretty cool 3:27 that Buddha's got some long ears to have them just resting on his shoulders like that lol 5:51 Coastal towns like this are so cool. I'm not a big fan of the beach, but places like this with just the rocks look so nice 6:22 the ATM in the temple feels a bit bad. I get that they have it so you can give cash for donations and stuff, but I just wish they could put it a bit more out of the way 7:12 the sound of the tide on the rocks 🔥 8:02 ham and shrimp is interesting lol 8:54 "Halfway done with may", video posted in July. Foch, how long is the ToeKnee editing process???
@@bvl12 oh yeah I like overcast but for videos it's nice to have sunny haha. Also I thought the same about the atm. It didn't fit well but it is what it is. Yeah the editing doesn't necessarily take so long but I don't have much time. I just have so much footage to go through too. But hey, I've been consistent to have it each week. 🫡
1:45 Green tea ice cream is so good 2:52 is that like steppe farming, or just built into the hill? A bit hard to see if it's flattened off at any point 4:50 I think the tea leaves get more aromatic when they're dried out? 5:48 the rare Tiger POV 8:55 pretty nice view from up there
Yeah it's terrace farming, it's a steep area. It was a very beautiful area.
0:45 that's a pretty neat little town square area The view from the drum tower is really nice 3:10 the flower sculpture is sick 4:00 the town mascots are so interesting coming from the west lol 4:39 Finally my Duolingo comes in handy. That's the Japanese kanji/Chinese character for "tea", pronounced "cha". 6:40 damn I thought the view from the drum tower was nice
😊
What a fun video. Loved those green trees and icecream .❤😊
0:01 Did they make that song themselves? Or is that something you do in class? 3:23 Helicopters neat 3:58 ~~Tractor~~ Front dumper 4:45 Yeah I hate when it's hot and humid. Absolute worst 5:20 :catJam: Timelapse with Aurelion music ohplease 9:54 Ggimbap? Not an onigiri? Looks like seaweed-wrapped rice to me 10:15 Plum juice 🔥
@@bvl12 They made that up on the spot haha. Oh please Aurelion music goes hard. Still waiting for his new stuff. You're correct. Onigiri is Japanese and gimbap is Korean. It's the same thing just in different languages. Gim= seaweed. Bap= rice. 🍙 Ohh you know, plum juice always goes.🧃
@@ayetoeknee Interesting. For some reason I thought Gimbap was like a rice and kimchi snack. Not sure where I got that idea from tbh
wow beautiful thanks for sharing
That is for watching!
0:15 Cool view, reminds me of Favela with the buildings up on the hill like that 0:59 Did you try the highly recommended dumpling beef soup with rice cakes and fish cakes? 3:22 seems like very few shoe lockers for the whole school
True true. I did try the soup and rice cakes. Reaaaaaallly good. I didn't try the fish cakes though. That area is the main entrance. The kids use the side back entrance and there are a few other entrances. (It is a small school too)
0:20 Honestly the super small room is kinda cool 6:20 That was neat and all but I don't really get why it was important to have a video like that prepping you to see the tower view lol 7:35 Nice view, those glass floors are always pretty fun 9:30 really nice pic, wallpaper material tbh 9:42 did you take that pic? Looks like a promotional image
Yeah idk what that intro was for but it was kinda cool. Yeah I didn't know there was glass, I got startled a bit at first haha. No that last image I didn't take haha.
Scoooot
Was that lady trying to watch you eat a wiener 🙇♂️
0:55 sugar on a corndog is pretty sick. All that stuff looks good though, gotta love streetfood 2:50 English Zone with a map of the whole world under it is pretty funny 4:44 "ATV with a huge windshield" - Just call it what it is: a mini dumper
Oh yeah I've never thought of that but having sugar is reaaaaaallly good. I love trying street food, it's a cool experience. Yeah...mini dumper. True true.
OMG Even the AI auto-corrected 곤양 to 고양(City in Gyeong gi)😂
Music fits well!
Haha that's funny. It's like when you look up Gonyang and it autocorrects on Google too.
@@ayetoeknee 😂Says a lot
I knew where it was geographically and I've seen it in your videos, but seeing it on maps, it's surprisingly small lol
I appreciate you watching. Yeah my idea was to show the scale. To show how truly small it is.
Apple!! Takes the gold! 🏆
0:34 sake kit kats sound 🔥 0:57 the intro lmao 1:52 I thought the sake one sounded 🔥and then you busted out the plum wine flavored kit kat wow 2:18 I think I got those when I was there and I'm pretty sure that's like graham cracker or something 8:26 true, dark chocolate > milk chocolate most days 13:58 I've also had the orange one and I kind of agree with that assessment. The orange is so strong compared to all of the other kit kat flavors for some reason Definitely super fun to sample all the different kinds of kit kats you can find around, especially because the flavors they offer vary from place to place (city to city, not just store to store)
It was pretty fun trying various kit Kat flavors. I definitely would do it again if I get many more. I know it's a personal opinion but it's fun to try and explain what they taste like to me. That being said definitely get the sake one.
Loved this!!!
3:13 A lot of times there are birds and stuff that live on islands like that and roost in the trees. They had one like that at the Ueno Zoo when we were there and it was full of cranes 4:39 Gorgeous view ahead (you don't get the minor reference because you haven't played Dark Souls smh) 4:50 sucks that any park in the US slaps some ugly ass handrails on the little bridge because they get sued when some moron tries to run across and slips and falls into the water 5:45 is this fog real? Or from a machine? Really nice looking park
Yeah one day dark souls..... True, it was very open and unrestricted and it was a machine that did the fog. Still pretty cool.
0:36 Wilson and I got sashimi horse in Tokyo and it was 🔥 0:50 That's a really cool design 3:58 Hammer pants are sick
Yeah I'd love to try but we didn't get it. Maybe later this year 🤔. It was too dark to get much video of the inside but it was a really cool restaurant design for sure. Hammer time !
2:30 Yeah the calligraphic writing not being readable by google translate is annoying for sure 2:52 For sake: Junmai = made from only rice, no additives like sugar or anything introduced; Nigori = unfiltered, so it'll be cloudy and typically pretty sweet. Nigori sake is 🔥 3:15 can't believe you'd betray the Scuderia like that. I'm telling Charles on you 5:20 "It tastes like candy." So typical Starbucks just like the US then? :omegalul: 5:28 this sort of outdoor mall that you can drive a car through is pretty cool 8:00 Walking around while eating smh. You're going to be carrying that empty starbucks cup for a week and a half before you find a trash can you can toss it in 9:31 that Shirley Temple thing sounds so good 13:22 Yeah no touting or hawking in the mall :madge:
0:34 the cars: th-cam.com/video/YKMIe4IESrE/w-d-xo.html 1:51 Saiban Fucoca 5:15 honestly it would be really fun to get into one of these izakaya tents, but I feel like it'd have to be an omakase style thing where you are there for a fixed time and drink everything they put in front of you before leaving. Otherwise the people waiting to take your seat would be kinda annoying 7:11 tbh they should make a regional soda called Fuka-cola. Missed marketing opportunity 8:58 I have a Herman Miller chair and can confirm that they are 10/10. Got mine refurbished for like 60% off 10:15 spending a lot of time observing some random guy's truck in a parking lot 16:05 the Max Verstappen of sidewalk cyclists
haha Saiban Fucoca. Fuka-cola would be insane true. Herman miller does seem like a perfect chair. Hey that truck is insane alright. du du dudu
0:30 would be cool to see a baseball game in Japan, we didn't get to when we were there because it was the off season :( 1:40 Hi Mr. Knee :peepoHappy: 4:55 Defending the honor of left handed people everywhere. Not the wrong way, just another way 5:55 When I was over there, someone told me that the side they walk on changes depending on where in Japan you are, so you should just do whatever other people are doing and fit in 6:05 The Sun never sets on the 7Eleven empire :salute: 8:04 no comments on the black car casually driving by with the trunk wide open? 10:45 "Who's SHAFT?" smh you don't even know. SHAFT's his name. SHAFT's his game 😤 11:38 That's the thing that nobody tells you about Japan. You've always got 11, it just gets shorter and shorter until it turns green again 12:20 well it's good that they're fishing more bikes out of the river than people 13:40 these open air/covered outdoor malls are pretty cool
Don’t eat while going into stores. Basic manners 101.
1:00 Syracuse has the Wholesome Cowboy. Kumamoto has the Wholesome Samurai 4:50 those were some pretty sweet moves 5:15 a special shoutout 6:28 can't believe you bought the horse armor DLC. S-tier animation 6:35 the slow peek lol 8:03 eating easily one of the best parts about travelling
Yeah the animation took hours, I'm glad you appreciate it. I agree. If you're on vacation and not constantly eating, what are you doing.
the taxi driver is a native japanese. in the western world almost no domestic inhabitants serve in this kind of important work position. if you are guest in a country especially in a tourist region you expect native people to welcome you. In Germany or USA - NY this will most likely not happen.
Honestly that little room seemed so damn cozy lol
It was honestly awesome haha. Sleeping on the top is perfect.
Any particular reason you chose to take a taxi instead of take the subway and walk 3:22 "for some reason" - for an obvious reason, the big one with the green stripe is the only one shaped even remotely similarly to a Volvo dumper 4:10 the fingerless gloves and beanie combo goes so fucking hard 🔥 4:30 the voice rising 2 octaves to say "Hilton Hotel" as if it wouldn't be understood if you just said it normally 6:50 ngl I would love to live in a studio apartment like this if it just had a decent place to set up a PC and a bigger kitchen space. The lofted bed space is so cozy, and you could put a projector up there to watch movies/TV/YT big on the opposite wall? Ohpls 8:00 idk why he's laughing, it would be kinda fun to have a tiny couch like that to feel like a giant 8:33 one of the coolest little things I liked about Japan when I was there are that cities have crows and ravens instead of boring pigeons 9:07 a whole hall just for Jo???
Oh please, the best taxi driver by far. The place was perfect too, I'd like something like that. It's all open and has everything you need, simple.
1:38 kind of insane to have the curtains drawn for the initial guest entrance when that's the view 2:50 pretty sweet looking mall 4:10 :catJam: 7:03 :dadJam: 7:35 Sing Sing Sing is a turbo bop 10:42 Well? Did a flash mob happen in Fukuoka? :pauseChamp:
No flash mob😢
0:40 reminds me of the Atlantis ride at SeaWorld for some reason 1:50 viewing platform looks really nice 2:52 The highest Buddha in Thailand
I've never been to that ride but I want to now haha. This was truly a perfect day to visit. Absolutely beautiful.
0:50 the lantern street is pretty sick The puppet and drum performance is neat and all but honestly I think a city that does nothing but put paper lanterns hanging over every street like that would be so cool With a bunch of restaurants and stalls with on-street seating where you just walk up and sit at a bar outside? Oh please
Was such a cool experience in Chinatown. They really went all out!🐉
4:15 Cool to see a depiction of Buddha where he's just \_oungin' instead of sitting uncomfortably 6:40 pretty sweet pic. Nice view. A restaurant on that waterfront would go so hard
Love this. A gold Buda!
