Can I know what you use to colour the fondant cut out?
I used edible gold paint made by mixing edible gold dust and lemon extract. You can also mix it with any other extract or vodka. Thanks for watching!

What happen in long hours? If i made the cake the night before the event and its been sitting in the fridge overnight.. does the gold drip gets dry and run along the board? Or does it stay at is it? Also is the whipped cream not going to absorb the gold?
The gold drips stay in place overnight in the fridge. I have only used it on buttercream, so I'm not sure how it would work with whipped cream.

Hello - great soothing video, thanks for showing American Buttercream icing, what weight in grams would I use for shortening because here in the UK we don't use cups but weigh everything 😊

About 1.5 kgs. I would start with 2 kgs and have leftovers. It also depends on the height of each tier.

Can this buttercream stand the humidity & the very hot temperatures in Durban, KZN....
I'm not sure how hot it is there, but it can withstand humidity and heat to an extent. I would recommend not leaving it out of the fridge for more than 2 hours when the temperatures are very high.

Yes, you can. In the fridge for about a week and in the freezer for up to 3 months. Just let it come to room temperature and re-whip until it becomes creamy again. Thanks for watching!

How many kgs is the margarine please 🙏
908g or approximately 1kg. I used butter though, I don't know if margarine will give the same results, but if that's what you have, you can totally use it. I have updated the recipe with the quantity in kg. Thanks for watching, and I hope it turns out well for you.

Yes
Can groundnut oil or melted butter be used in replace of lemon extract
I don't think so. It has to be an extract or alcohol that will evaporate and leave a shiny look on the gold drips. If you are using the other method with candy melts, you could add some oil to the melted white chocolate or candy melts to thin them out to a dripping consistency, and paint the drips gold after they set. I hope this helps.
