The Cheng started out pretty alright with Cheng herself and the Hong sisters and of course there's the later mastery of Biles, Andrade, and really nice ones from Downie and Carey as well. However that stretch in the middle was horrifying.

Rebecca’s Cheng is the classiest ever. That momentary spread of hands to the side after the block seems to make her suspended up there for a moment. This technic gave her the best block among the Cheng vaulters in history. She deconstructs the Cheng vault for everyone to enjoy watching. Such amazing technic.

Coming back *2* years late to say that Cheng truly does the best cheng (ok biles is also excellent but giving it to cheng...). She keeps it sooooo tight and nice. Hong Un Jong clearly pikes on the first rotation which you can really see if you pause it, especially in the earlier years (she kind of fixes it by 2014 but then sometimes has split legs). I have to say Mykayla does a pretty good cheng, she is laid out the whole way (maybe a bit more explosiveness from the vault table will help). Paseka's is atrocious but I think everyone has made it clear lol
