Our hotel(Wingate by Wyndham) was at walkable distance from Niagara falls. You can easily walk. No need to take bus or uber. Also, we took shuttle from train station to reach hotel. Name of the app is Discover Niagara shuttle app. It is a free shuttle service in Niagara. You can download this app from below link: www.discoverniagarashuttle.com/apps In return from hotel to train station, our train was in early morning, so we took NFTA Metro bus metro.nfta.com/ Wish you a safe and wonderful trip!

We went in October. March is also good time to go bcz you will see less crowd. I would suggest to check the weather and try to plan your visit on sunny day.

I checked it just now and it is still showing $68. Go to Amtrak website and then search from NYP(New York, NY Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Sta.) to NFL(Niagara Falls, NY) for 25 sep or 26 sep 2023, You would find coach class fare $68. For 19 Sep as well showing $68.

Yes you are correct. We took tram because we wanted to experience the tram ride. Thanks for sharing. It would be helpful to other viewers to know about other modes of transport to reach Roosevelt Island 😊

@amanjindal7216 Yes, Train was very comfortable. Train seats are like business class seats of flight with cafe inside. You can go and sit in cafe section and can enjoy the beautiful outside view. Carry few snacks with you for travel if you don’t want to buy from cafe. Washrooms are very clean. You would not be tired with this long journey. Each traveler may bring 2 personal and 2 carry-on items. For checked baggage, you have to check the baggage policy while booking the seats. Not all trains and stations are equipped to handle checked baggage. You have to check if your train origin and destination accept checked baggage. You can message us if you have any other questions. For us, it was approx $100 for vegan food. We ordered 2 starters salad and one dish in main course. It might go between $100-$200 for 2 people.

@jo-annpinder4695 We stayed at Wingate by Wyndham hotel which is at walkable distance from Niagara Falls. We booked it through priceline express deal. You can get other better options too like seneca which has its own casino. Our main focus was to book price friendly hotel.

Both sides were beautiful. If going from Nyc to Niagara, prefer to sit on the left side. You would get a river and mountain view.
