Why viroids infect only plants ?
Viroids are infectious agents composed of a short, single-stranded circular RNA molecule that infects plants. One reason viroids infect only plants is due to their mode of transmission. Viroids are typically spread through mechanical damage, such as pruning or cutting, which is more common in plants due to their rigid cell walls. Additionally, viroids do not have a protein coat like viruses, which allows them to evade detection by the immune systems of animals. Therefore, viroids are specialized to infect plants, making them unique pathogens in the plant kingdom.
I'm taking interested in gardening so I have a few thing that I have started from my kitchen. However I recognize there are something that are not understandable with the plants.
