Make the most of it .This whole area covering 70sq klm is to be designated Maori only under the Hauraki Gulf marine protection Act currently going through parliament .A very sad loss to local shore based and and small boat fishermen.

My daughter wears a life jacket on the boat every time for the entire trip? She’s wearing a life jacket in this video? It’s not a legal requirement to wear life jackets on a boat over 6m. We have life jackets plus all the safety equipment on close hand if it’s required.
I’m brand new to fishing and just got a surf rod today. Let me know if you go fishing again so I can learn things 😊

@@nzfisherman7024 I walked the coast from Mairangi to Takapuna (amazing view) but haven’t tried to fish there yet but it seems to be potential..
