NOT SO FAST. The Canoo battery pack consists of 16 modules w 69 lithium cells per module. If any 1 of those cells go bad, they have to replace the entire module. SO, How much does a replacement module cost? Fords Lightning uses 9 modules. Each module = $4000.00. What about that crazy windshield? State Farm does not cover glass. How windshield We gotta know these things to know if we can afford to own one of these. !

@@aca9876 it's very practical, and not that difficult to understand. but for some reason legacy auto-makers just can't seem to get away from their old ICE designs.
@@rokko_fable That's because their factories are built for ICE vehicles. Attempts to convert production lines from ICE to EV result in output with low quality and it's a risky game because they're cannibalising their business on the bet the new sector will replace it. Most are trying to slowly build new EV factories so they don't hurt their balance sheets and company stock price (which a lot of management wealth is tied up in). Any ICE company that suddenly goes all in dedicating all spare cash to building new EV facilities will have terrible finances for a at least a few years so any management looking to retire don't want the risk. They're trying to keep the stock prices up so they can bail instead of doing what is best for the company.
