Hey do you play 1v1? I was plat 2 for a long time but I recently got plat 2 1v1, and easily moved up into pla 3 2v2. It will help a lot for your defense and simple shooting.

This diamond also has 3 issues(not saying im better bc I'm not but) he goes for stuff he can't hit, which is how you learn but still. He over commits a LOT on offense. And on defense he's positioned all over the place and challenges kinda weirdly.

Yeah true, trying to fix that :)

If you watch carefully you can see that I make sure the ball is at the side of my car and when it lands im actually turning into the ball. you can soften the catch and prevent (most) of the bounce by catching a ball like that. the best ways to catch a ball is either with the side of you car or the hood, almost never the roof unless as on shot B you want the bounce as part of your play

Depends I believe, I don't think it's easier unless you are able to pull of the movements needed for it, have you tried it? im actually interested in the results :D

@Bobsondo Yes, I did not finish it, though, because I was exhausted after the plat one, I only checked the ssl one out. I finished each one except for gc and ssl so far, but one shot from plat took me longer than all other packs that I did combined. The only problem with ssl I have seen is the one that requires a speedflip as I can't do that, but apart from that those shots seemed doable. I am only a diamond player, though, so it won't be easy, but they all seemed easier than plat anyway. I'll try it another time and tell you if it took me longer than plat or not.

The shot I had trouble with in the plat pack was the 6th one. It was just too fast for me to dribble. Took me ages. All other shots in all packs seemed easy compared to that one. I guess it is not difficult for a person with your skills but I have no idea what it is doing in the plat skill level.

It's great that you actually managed to do it, if you repeat those packs and try to get more consistent with the shots, you will improve a lot :)

Hi there! Im sure that you know the basics as a diamond player and can atleast do a bit of dribbling, flicks, wallplay & air dribbles but are not consistent with them. To reach champ you basicly want to work on: - Shot accuracy (you can do by practising trainingpacks with hard shots and hit the ball in a certain spot of the net, try to repeat this to get more consistent with ball placement), if you are a pc player you can also use the workshop map Aim training - By CoCo - Consistency on your mechanics, good car control on both the ground and air, being able to hit most of your (air)dribbles and flicks. - Shadow defense - Possession play where possible instead of booming the ball away, - Make 1v1 gameplay your favourite gamemode (helps you improve fast) - You can try looking for a teammate that is also consistent, makes it easier to rank up in 2s If you do the above im sure you will reach champ since this is what makes the difference between diamonds and champ players :)

I'd love to but Psyonix only creates such packs every 2-3 months, So as far as I am aware of, there are no october packs available right now :( Maybe there will be november packs soon though

I diagonal flip in gold. But its really not necessary & lately I've been doing mainly fakes and delayed kickoffs with much more success than fast kickoffs.

Diagonal flips are nice yes :) At the end of gold to the beginning of diamond those are reliable (but vulnerable to delayed kickoffs) At the beginning of diamond its good to start looking at speed flip kickoffs :)

@@Bobsondo yeah, the delayed beats my diagonal flip usually. I've tried to learn speed flip, but it has not gone well lol. I'll get it when/if i need to.

Delayed kickoffs are great, even at higher level its nice to use them sometimes :) You wont see a speedflip that much until you get into the diamond ranks, so you are fine as you are now 😁

@@Bobsondo yeah, leth played against Seerv4 & seer won most kickoffs by delaying.
