Thank you very much, it wasnt possible to revisit much of Skye due to the weather on the last trip so combining the footage from the 2 trips seemed to make sense :)

Thanks Yvonne, 30 minutes before we took that footage it was unflyable - and the wind was still an issue on that flight...

I did, another video of the ruins and a nother mountain waterfall to come, but didnt fly the ruins with the AVATA, so I need to go back at some time for a more thorough investigation..

Thanks... this isn't as close as I was at the Fairy Pools on Skye, that was a mere 6" to 12" off the water, I was at least 14" above the water on this flight :)

Thank Colin, waterfalls are fun to fly, especially if you can et in close - I was at 2 to 3 foot for most of this... Gyroflow makes smooth AVATA flying even smoother :)

If you remind me to remind you, then thats fine ;) gyroflow.xyz/download Great for smoothing out AVATA or FPV footage, but you have to turn off the EIS and have the raw movement data available..

Thanks Lance, yes, thats me, trying to unfog the goggles as I was flying back down - you can see me from behind on the way up at about 1.20ish... Hubby sat next to me as spotter... Far too hot and sweaty, hence steaming up!

@@albiondrones awesome flight. you get some crazy distance. I would have so many lost conntections dropping that far down....night flight!!!

Thanks... tbh I was highish up the hill, so had good line of sight, allowing the transmission to remain fairly good... Only at the lower falls and in the top gully did the signal drop to 2 - hence why I didnt fly under the bridge in either location... Still, I am sure another attempt and a dferent TOAL point will yield some results... Still have the AIR3 footage from a couple of flights to play with yet...

Thanks, that may have been the fact it was the morning before Solstice - so we knew it would be busy the following day - and we were there for 7am before most tourists were awake... Meant getting up at 4am and leaving home at 430am, but it was worth it, a cracking day out with friends :)

The Lovell Telescope was at the forefront of radio astronomy, and still is... Quite possibly it did observe the Vela, but the glitches in Vela Pulsar were recorded elsewhere..

@@jimthorleydronefootage agreeed... I could see soo many place to fly on our last trip, but with only 2 hrs and being with friends we couldn't do it all... Next time I think a week long stay is needed/..
