Connection is Magic with Samson Shulman
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 6 ก.ย. 2016
Connection is Magic with Samson Shulman is “A Lighthouse For Creatives” and those working in the arts, fashion, sports, modeling and entertainment industry. Ego’s, volatility, burn out and public scrutiny, are just a few of the innumerable stressors that are inherent on this journey. Enduring takes a massive toll on our mental health.
The podcast is hosted by former music executive & training clinical psychologist, Samson Shulman. Through unfiltered conversation with both up and comer's & veterans of the field, the podcast seeks to disrupt the algorithm of today’s highlight-reel culture. Listeners will learn how to make something beautiful from their pain, evolve, and in the process - help others.
The podcast was born out of host, Samson’s own “dark night of the soul,” after battling Lyme Disease, a near death experience from a tumor hemorrhaging in his head, and severe career burnout working at Interscope Records, The Tonight Show and in Artist Management.
Blessings :)

His improvised musical sets are created using only his voice, a keyboard, and a looping machine. He began piano & violin lessons at age five and moved to Seattle at age 18 to study music. He attended The Art Institute of Seattle before studying jazz at Cornish College of the Arts. Worth noting - Reggie lived in Seattle during the renaissance of the grunge music era. Reggie is also an aficionado of cars and tech, speaking in detail to both during his many appearances on the Joe Rogan Podcast. He refers to himself as a "disinformationist" who aims to disorient his audience in a comedic fashion. Reggie was the house band leader for The Late Late Show with James Corden for 8 seasons.

@@najmamohamed1045 amen!! Glad this resonated for you 🙏🏼💙
I loved your message it hit me hard. You are a blessing.
@@maryjohnson4282 aww thank you so much for this message. Much love your way!🙏🏼💙
Whats confusing to me about the blame for Justin not paying enough attention to an artist because he was working on the 20/20 Experience is the fact that the 20/20 Experience was created and recorded in only a month... 20 days as the title suggests. The artist was signed for 8 years, 4 with Justin and 4 with Interscope (which he admitted Justin help her get)...but you blame her demise as an artist on an album that was recorded in less than a month? It sounds to me that the person in this interview is trying to transfer blame to the easier and bigger target, Justin, for things that he, Navin, was responsible for as her manager.
Love pastor Touré❤
Watching 144p today one day will watch in 4k
Yay
Eminem took Hailie to the studio to record her voice for his song Bonnie and Clyde 97 Hailie thought they were going to chuckle cheese but they were at the studio
hailie?? she obviously knew she was going to the studio it was kim who thought he was taking hailie to get something to eat
Who won
Only dude that doesn't make a mike tyson impression whenever he talks about him talking
Facts Freshmen year he scored a lot of touchdoowns. If Lasalle would have had a good team he could have went to the NFL. He made the right choice. Im filled with joy and nostalgia watching this.
Amazing!!! Thank you for letting us know! Blessings your way.
We so proud of Leroy!!! Why am I just seeing this. I was trying to show my son my friend doing his thing and stumbled across this.
The biggest important thing for jeff is with the press and many things that push behind it im sure mentioning the name not only would have created a bunch of fans but maybe in some ways he wouldnt be able to go out without the fans being there if that makes sense. I know from a music aspect i would of course bring up the name eventually but id wait until i had the producer/musicians permission just as the paparazzi wouldnt leave them alone either. Im sure he enjoys his peace over having to have security 24/7 or being a big big name, a reason i could see the advertisement for seeming like dre did everything would be because dre is hard to get to for anyone but for jeff maybe it might affect him or his family in a way that wouldnt be positive on anyone making music. I know i would be upset with the controvesal things that might come from an artist i make songs for, id like to create the art but having a word about it would purely just be for the love of making music, not about the lyrical context of course
@@bongzonthebeat 💯💯💯
@@bongzonthebeat 💯💯💯he’s talked about this. If you can hit it big and not worry about going to the grocery store and getting mobbed that’s the ultimate right there.
@@connectionismagic I totally agree big time!!! From my perspective of it just watching over the years. I know Eminem has talked about eating and not being able to have time to himself as people want pictures or so on i mean the way i am really says a lot on that aspect lol. I think some years ago I feel like I seen a video that was about. Eminem realized his fame when he went to a Taco Bell and he couldn’t just eat his food or something i could be wrong but feel like I remember that and in that aspect its important to have a barrier i mean imagine the kinda crazy people that could have came to Jeff over the albums back then lol im sure would have annoyed the heck out of him lol. I feel the best way to do it like that would be just making guest appearances and music videos or various other things because then the important fans that know who he is will be there like us now and those crazy people are trying to get through to him and to Em wouldnt have a chance to because they dont know all the associations if that makes sense lol. The bass brothers will forever be in my book even if dre didnt do certain things on them but to the people that really know who made it fricken major props to them definitely. All in all it wouldnt have turned out the ways they did without the bass brothers and dre and em all together and thats important to see
@@bongzonthebeat Amen!!! Thank you for this perspective !
Em and the Bass Brothers fit perfectly.
10000
I think they wanted to make the illusion that Dre made all the beats. Seems like they actively avoided mentioning Jeff and Mark more so then forgetting. Regardless, great interview!

Normal Baki episode:
Mike Tyson was the real life Yujiro Hanma experience.
That’s so cool I love his music 😊
Why dont they ever mention Bassmint era with Manix and Chaos Kid etc? I think Bass Bros were around then
Awesum interview. Em is a douche but i already knew. Paul Hoe-senberg is probably the guy that had Em not thank these dudes so as not to overshadow Dre. Hoe-senberg is basically Ems father
Glad you're feeling it! haha Hoezenberg is hilarious!
So Dope! would like to see more

Ayyye!! 👊🏽✨ please share it with whomever you feel would appreciate it. Bless!
They dont kno. They think its all Dre
Mike told me personally when he won his first pro fight. He said, " Cool, I stare them down and once they look away I KNOW, I've already won the fight!". I think Mike might have been 18 at the time. I said, " Mike, how many of them look away?". He said, _ They ALL do!! 😂. Looking back in time the whole county upstate KNEW Mike would be a champion. We knew he would be the GOAT.

Whos here after Houdini ? Jess Bass is also credited for the song
It's because of the sample. sadly, he hasn't worked on it
Main reason they stopped working wasn’t drugs. It was becuz they sued aftermath and jimmy iovine. They told Em he cant work with them anymore
Why did they sue? Where can I read more on this?
