I'll admit that this wasn't the best stage to use him since he fares pretty bad against AOE damage but at least he got his niche here, otherwise it would've been just impossible for him. He's at least just one skill buff away from being actually good 🙃

Yea kinda, the way I ranked them basically boils down to how useful the applied buffs are for that one specific unit, star bomb is nice but honestly it's not that impressive considering the sheer amount of Star bomb CEs we have these days. While the overcharge up is nice it won't really make that much of a difference on Charlie but the Crit up benefits him a lot The reverse can be said about Bedi who gains a lot from the overcharge while the Crit up is just a nice touch but nothing outstanding considering that he's way more np focused than for crits

Funnily enough I made a Tierlist with all Lawful-Good servants to rank them on how good they synergize with Gilles, I would've posted it by now but I noticed a mistake and I can't correct atm lol. But tldr the units that profit the most from the overcharge up are usually Servants that both have synergy with the Crit up on top of having Damage mods that are tied to overcharge, so yea Like you already mentioned, Bhima, Vlad but also Kuku, Rama, Karna and Joanna. But also Aesc oc, a friend already tested them together and said the results were surprisingly good. And he works pretty well with Theseus and Bedi, the former getting a whopping 125% Crit up from Gilles in total if he uses his np and even more with s2(I think) and Bedi being Star is also pretty nice.

​@walaba8565 In Fate he does not qualify for innocent monster since he actually did do all that stuff, he did it in search of an answer from God, and in the end he did not get his answer since he was only killed for his money. In real life his accusations and sentence are at least fishy, he was most likely killed because he started to gather power by getting along with the peasants, it makes sense since he was providing them with entertainment, food and work places.

@@darkdrac7012 I think he meant it as in that it is debated whether he really killed the children in real life or the blame was just put on him. Don't think he meant it literally that gilles can qualify for innocent monster

he does has one use for the arts np now, he can work as a budget replacement in the immortal team. Saber gilles being immortal team compatible was not a thing would ever happen.

@@MrGanon13 I mean why use him in that scenario tho? Just use Theseus instead who won't cripple his damage by focusing on arts cards unlike Gilles. In my experience, the only justification I've ever seen to focus on Gilles Arts cards are to make him quickly refund for his next np but never for damage purposes, arts just doesn't work as well for face card oriented damage, especially with a non damaging np. If you really want to make an immortal team just use a unit with actual stalling capabilities and not someone that cripples his defense in the process xD

@@akiakob5002 Bc he has 2 levels of overcharge, he can "replace" himiko/Morgan in some variation of the comp, and the art cards helps with other gains, he can use whatever for face, but yeah at the of the day is a memeish build, but is fun to know a fucking Gilles Saber comp that allows him to take 0 damage with the rest of the team.

@@akiakob5002 While focussing on arts crits isn't 'the way', buffing Gilles' arts cards can absolutely work out. You basicly just try to use all his face cards when they come in, with the NP spamming not only boosting his atk more but also creating full chains with two face cards. Gilles' def down never was an issue with command codes, but Castoria also clears it for him.

Like on every DPS unit xD

I thought about grailing Bloodaxe but I have so many grail targets that even when I eventually grail him some day, it'll take a loooong time until we get there
